We have no real issues with Rawai Palm Resort. The location was no ideal, however that was our problem given we did not research enough. We were very appreciative of the free shuttle service - we loved Nai Harn beach!!
Don't be disheartened by the location though, there are beautiful signs nearby!
Our only problem with the room was the smell when we first arrived - it was like the room had been closed up for months. However, we did notice most rooms opened each day so maybe this can't be helped given the climate?
The wifi was also a little temperamental. No huge issue however- we were on holidays!
Breakfast was good, the pool beautiful, prices expected of a pool bar (but not super expensive), the staff were beautiful.
This is a lovely hotel in Rawai. Close to shops, beach and plenty of places to eat close by.
The resort was large, beautiful pool area and sandy beach pool. Rooms were large and decorated with a thai feel. Rooms only accommodate up to 4 people, so we had 2 rooms side by side. Quiet area, only a short walk to the beach and many restaurants.
I've been to Thailand 3 times now. Stayed in 7 different resorts. Rawai is a beautiful place there. You can do some shopping without the hassle of the people hounding you. Rawai beach is the best. Food @ Mummas restaurant on the beach is to die for. Now the Resort. The rooms are a good size and traditionally decorated . Great big baths and stand alone showers. The beds are huge and comfortable. Service staff are lovely. Now the pool is to die for. Its nearly the size of the resort. It weaves all around the open area. so there is plenty of room for everyone..The down fall for this is there is a few rock looking steps scattered around to master. There is also something that every resort needs, a Swim Bar. I cant say enough about this place. A+++. We will be back ....
