Mooloolaba Beach - Fishing

Just metres from the soft white sand of Mooloolaba Beach, the Mooloolaba Marina is also within easy walking distance of the famously cosmopolitan Mooloolaba Esplanade and its plethora of beachfront bars, cafes, restaurants, boutiques and retail outlets. You'll also find fantastic cooked and fresh seafood offerings just 100m from where the trawlers have brought in their ocean harvest. There are also a number of picnic and BBQ facilities conveniently located nearby.

A popular holiday destination, the Sunshine Coast attracts lots of tourists and although Mooloolaba is certainly a holiday hot spot it doesn't seem to attract the same crowds as some of the other tourist centres, making it the perfect spot to visit. From the Mooloolaba Marina, head down to the Mooloolaba Spit and enjoy stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and pristine beaches.
Located within walking distance of the Mooloolaba Marina, the region's most popular attraction, SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast, offers a family friendly and fascinating insight into the amazing world that lies just below the water. A full range of brochures are available from the Office at the Mooloolaba Marina, which has a reputation for being Australia's best located marina.

Mooloolaba Marina is also home to the Pacific Cruising fleet, the Mooloolaba Boaties Market, Sunshine Coast Yacht Club and a number of sailing and fishing charters. Although you are not required to belong to a club to berth at the marina, third party insurance is a must for all boats. Having recently undergone a major refurbishment, the Mooloolaba Marina now boasts 256 powered floating berths complete with lighting and water as well as 16 multi-hull 18m berths. There is also a comprehensive range of marine trade services available at the marina.
