Day 1 Adelaide - Kangaroo Island: After being picked up from your Adelaide city hotel, enjoy the coach ride through the Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jarvis. Here you will board the ferry for the 45 minute trip across to Kangaroo Island. Rob's Shearing and Sheep Dogs is the first stop where you can witness the demonstration of an Aussie icon, before heading onto beautiful Pennington Bay for some photos opportunities. This South Australia tour then heads to Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery where you can discover the intricacies of the trade. On the Seal Bay guided beach walk you can get up close to a wild breeding colony of sea-lions. To top off the day experience the thrill of sand boarding on the Little Sahara sand dunes. The day ends at your accommodation for the night, Vivonne Bay Lodge, where you can tuck into the delicious BBQ buffet dinner and spend some time exploring the surrounding property. Go for a walk on one of the trails, swim at Vivonne Bay Beach or kayak the Harriet River.
Day 2 Kangaroo Island - Adelaide: Today allows you to discover numerous natural destinations and experiences including Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary Koala Walk and Flinders Chase National Park with its Remarkable Rocks. Enjoy a BBQ lunch at the Flinders Chase visitors centre before heading onto Admirals Arch where you may spot a fur seal or two playing on the rocks. The rest of the day involves stopping at various North Coast beaches, offering many photo opportunities. The return journey to Adelaide ends this amazing adventure.

Day 1 Adelaide - Kangaroo Island: An early morning pick up from your hotel for a scenic coach transfer to Cape Jervis taking in the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula with its vineyards, coastal views and rolling hills. On arrival, board the SeaLink ferry for the 45 minute crossing to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Here you will board your luxury SeaLink coach and your local driver/guide will take you on a tour of South Australia’s premier nature-based tourism destination. Your first official stop will be Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery where you will listen to an introductory talk about the history of the oil distillery and take a guided tour. Finish off with some free time in their souvenir shop where you will find an assortment of Eucalyptus products. Continue onto Vivonne Bay Bistro located on a 260 hectare bush property, for a delicious two course lunch. After lunch visit Seal Bay Conservation Park and enjoy a guided beach walk with a National Park Ranger amongst a breeding colony of wild and rare Australian sea lions. Your tour will then visit another amazing wildlife attraction, the fascinating In-flight Birds of Prey Display at Raptor Domain. Enjoy a delightful interactive experience and meet an array of birds and raptors. From here you will travel to Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park where you can get up close with Koalas, see Penguins swim and play, hand feed Kangaroos and Wallabies, learn about endangered species, interact with Snakes, Crocodiles and reptiles and experience Kangaroo Island Wildlife at your fingertips! You will then be transferred back to your chosen overnight accommodation.
Day 2 Kangaroo Island - Adelaide: After a delicious breakfast, visit Clifford’s Honey Farm to enjoy an informative talk by the beekeeper followed by tastings and an opportunity to sample homemade honey ice-cream and honey beauty products.
Next, travel to Hanson Bay Visitor Centre & Café for a scrumptious two course lunch. After lunch you have the chance to look for Koalas nestled up in the eucalypts and see an abundance of native birdlife in the wildlife sanctuary.
From here, travel to the western most part of the Island, Flinders Chase National Park, one of Australia’s largest and earliest conservation parks. Travel through the park and enjoy breath-taking views of its unique trees, plants and coastal scenery. You will be taken to the rugged southern coastline for a walk around Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Remarkable Rocks provide great photographic opportunities and stunning sea views. Admirals Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal this spectacular arch, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful Long-nosed Fur Seals that can be seen swimming and playing in the waves, or resting on the rocks. Return to the Penneshaw Ferry Terminal or Kingscote Airport for the return journey to Adelaide.
