The Battlefields Discovery tour is ideal for those interested in war history, in particular World War II. This convenient morning tour takes you to the momentous locations and buildings involved in Singapore's WWII history.
The tour begins at the Labrador Nature Reserve where the British troops were posted to defend the harbour. There is opportunity to view war relics and artillery guns that are still there to this day. The Battlefields Discovery tour then heads to the Old Ford Factory, the first of its kind in South East Asia and the exact location of the British surrender to the Japanese in WWII.
The tour finishes up at the Changi Chapel and Museum which exhibits numerous letters and photographs from the war, including the stories of the prisoners of war (POW's) held at the infamous Changi Prison.
