We had a great holiday at Salatoga Sands, would have liked extra time there as we only had 4 full days. We stayed in a beachfront villa which was amazing, spacious villa with outdoor shower and absolute beachfront. Listening to the ocean waves every night was a bonus. We found it to be priced similar to home and the location means we ate mostly at the resort, ok food but overpriced. Staff were nice enough but not Fiji friendly. The water was so clear and beautiful temperature, snorkelling was a highlight. There were a few things that were disappointing such as lots of food/drinks not available, pool bar hardly ever open, sheets not changed but overall a relaxing stay in a beautiful place of the world.
Beautiful resort with a lagoon style swimming pool, surrounded by exotic tropical flowers and lush greenery, a golden send beach and tranquil blue waters. We moved after 2 days from nice and clean hotel room to a wonderful beach front villa, stunning view of the ocean, best Samoa's attractions located nearby, like awesome To Sua Trench, waterfalls, capital Apia is only a 50 min away, can hire car at the resort, very convenient, we booked car twice and explored the island by ourselves. An ideal location for a couple or family holiday, beautiful place to get married as well. Lovely Samoan staff, Culural Day on Wednesday in the resort was fantastic, Wednesday we have experienced Fiafia night, Samoan way of life by cooking demonstration, coconut tree climbing, beautiful buffet dinner with traditional dancers and fire. Very much recommend this hotel for holiday in Samoa
All staff were so happy to help and would go out of your way to improve your stay. Great day trips and driver. Had such a great time.
The team could not have worked any harder to ensure our stay was pleasurable.
Thank you all.
Most appreciated.
See you again in June.
No negative comments to make. Very impressed and happy.
Thank you
Chantal
The stay was beautiful, we would go back.
Unfortunately the To-Sua trench was closed due to repairs at the time.
There were a lot of mozzies, would recommend to use Pestrol Aus (Terminator/Dominator) to reduce the mozzie population, might be cheaper than supplying the Mortein.
Lovely people bucket list place to go
We had 6 nights stay here as a family of 5 and really enjoyed ourselves. Well run resort with beautiful beachfront fales, nice pool, beautiful gardens and great restaurant with fresh food. If you need a relaxing break I highly recommend. Good value for money.
My mum and I took my 73yo grandmother (with walking issues and need a wheelchair for longer distances) to this resort and we could not fault it or the staff. Not only is the resort and it’s location beautiful, but the staff made us feel so welcomed and like we always had support if needed. The tour guides helped my grandma on and off the boat so she could come with us to Namu’a and were always asking if she was okay.
The villa was gorgeous and we loved the outdoor shower. The snorkeling at the resort was awesome too. We could not fault the food either, there was something for everyone.
All three of us would definitely return.
Saletoga Sands is lovely resort. We traveled as a family of 5 adults and stayed in 2 garden view rooms. They were well serviced and surrounded by beautiful gardens. The pool area was great with a swim up bar and plenty of sun lounges to relax on. The snorkeling just off the beach was quite good with plenty of kayaks and SUP's to use free of charge. Happy Hour at the Landing Bar was a great place to watch the sun go down. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. To Sua trench is very close by and an amazing place for a cool swim. The resort is an hour from the airport and quite remote from other dining options. Our transfers to and from the resort were excellent. There is as much or as little to do at this lovely resort as you wish to do. Would definitely recommend Saletoga Resort.
I did confirm with the resort if Gluten free and Lactose free options were available, and they advised that they did.
But unfortunately everything that I asked for was not able to be Gluten free, the menu was not really catered for this, and even though the chef was accommodating, he didn't have the ingredients or goods for this, which was dissappointing.
I do understand that I'm a minority rather than the majority, but healthier options with food on the menu would have been good. Stir fries etc.
curries were good on curry night, and daily vegetable fritters were good. no gluten free pasta.
Loved the rooms, the location, the staff were lovely.
lots of options of tours, car hire and snorkel/kayak hire.
Overall wonderful place.
Property would suit families or couples. Good choices of dining. Staff all very friendly and accommodating. Would re-visit.
