Had an amazing stay at Aga Reef Resort. Their staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The food at the restaurant was to die for (I particularly recommend the fish with mash potato) and they had some great cocktails too (particularly the aga secret}. The staff were happy to help us get around the island, gave us some great recommendations about what to see and do but most of all my partner and I really appreciate how they went above and beyond when our flight was cancelled and we were forced to stay another 24 hours. The manager let us stay in our same upgraded room for the lower price that we got in a special deal and went well out of her way to help us get to the airport. The scenery, reef and activities they provide were also superb. The only negative I have to say is that the resort is a bit of a drive from Apia but there are plenty of ways to get into the capital and the drive lets you see more of the beautiful island. Would recommend Aga Reef Resort to anyone and would love to stay again.
pleasant staff in a pleasant location made this a memorable week. The room, the snorkeling at the back door, the meals were great. Weather was perfect - hot but sunny. Note you really need a hire car but reception organized this for us painlessly.
Staff very attentive, overwater villa was beautiful and food was delicious and plentiful. Lovely place to stay if you really want to relax as the resort is isolated so you really need a car to see any tourist attractions and be aware you will usually have to pay something to the owners of the land. During our stay there were only four couples, so no entertainment was provided, which was disappointing.
