The private cabins and stylish sailing conditions of Whitsunday Blue offer a fantastic way to discover the beauty of the Whitsunday Islands, allowing only 4 couples aboard the catamaran at any one time. Your friendly host and skipper will guide you around the 74 magnificent Whitsunday Islands in comfort and stability.

Visiting exclusive beach locations unable to be reached by the larger cruise ships, this two day two night sailing adventure offers the opportunity to snorkel, fish and kayak or simply relax and work on your tan. The shallow draft of the catamaran ensures direct beach access and easy access in and out of the water.

Gourmet meals are prepared by a chef and served on board and the aft cockpit is home a large outdoor home theatre allowing you to enjoy a movie under the stars. Experience the wonder of the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands in the style and comfort of the Whitsunday Blue.

The following itinerary is an example of a 3-night cruise. All cruises are subject to weather and tidal conditions and the Captain’s professional judgement in putting together the best itinerary to keep guests happy, safe and well.

Day 1:
Check in at our office, Shop 1, 4 Airlie Esplanade Airlie Beach by 12:30pm. Guests may then explore Airlie Beach, buy some lunch, enjoy a walk along the beach. Guests meet at Coral Sea Marina at 2:40pm. Depart the marina at 3pm and sail to overnight anchorage. Dinner is served around 7:30pm.

Day 2:
After Breakfast, Tongue Bay for a guided bush walk to the Hill Inlet Lookout. A spectacular lookout overlooking Whitehaven Beach. Back on board enjoy lunch before heading around to Whitehaven Beach. Enjoy an hour on the beach before setting sail and heading north along the eastern side of Hook Island. Overnight anchor in one of the many bays on Hook Island.

Day 3:
After Breakfast snorkel on fringing coral reefs, or take a stand-up paddle board excursion over the Coral Reefs. After Lunch, make way to another beautiful bay for chance to complete another snorkel, alternatively time for Swimming, Sunbathing, strolling along the beach. Mid-afternoon set sail for overnight stop at Hayman Island or Langford Island. Enjoy a drink and pre-dinner snacks and watch the sunset over the water.

Day 4:
After Breakfast, enjoy a swim or snorkel before morning tea/brunch. Then set sails and make way back to Abel Point Marina, arriving at 12:00pm.

What to Bring: clothes, towel, toiletries, hat, swimwear, sunscreen, jacket/sweater, camera, sunglasses, runners or sandals for island walks, alcohol and soft drinks. Guests can bring your own alcohol, no glass or red wine please. Soft drinks are sold on board, but guests may bring their own. Guests are asked to limit luggage. Please pack in soft sided zipless bag. We provide dry bags hire; for a deposit of $50 (cash only) which will be refunded on return. We also provide luggage storage at the Explore Whitsundays Reservations Office for $10 per person.
