Day 1 Darwin - Kakadu: Depart Darwin and travel deep into Kakadu National Park. Take a guided walk to view Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie. Cruise on the Yellow Water Billabong to see prolific wildlife, then stop at the Warradjan Cultural Centre to view the informative displays.
Day 2 Kakadu - Darwin: Explore the World Heritage Area of Ubirr, where you’ll climb up through the ancient Aboriginal rock art galleries. Join the Guluyambi Cruise on the East Alligator River. An Aboriginal guide will provide an insight into their culture, local mythology, the river’s ecology as well as bush survival skills. Visit the Bowali Visitor Centre before returning to Darwin.
Day 3 Litchfield National Park - Darwin: Follow the Stuart Highway via Batchelor to Litchfield National Park. You have the opportunity for scenic and interpretive bush and monsoon vine forest walks. View Florence Falls before making your way down the stairs to the plunge pool below with an opportunity to swim. Visit Tolmer Falls for a magnificent view of the water cascading down to the deep waterhole below. Venture to Wangi Falls for another opportunity for a swim in the large crystal-clear pool and an optional steady climb through the rainforest to the top of the falls. Stop for a picnic lunch.
