On this 1 Day Litchfield National Park Waterfalls tour you head south along the Stuart Highway toward the 146,000 hectare Litchfield National Park. Along the way, you will stop and learn the difference between Cathedral and Magnetic termite mounds and then it is onto the gorgeous town of Batchelor. The gateway to the National Park, Batchelor is the perfect place to stop and enjoy some morning tea at one of the local cafes.
Enjoy an interpretive walk through the bush to the Florence Falls lookout where you'll enjoy spectacular views of the cascading waterfalls before making your way down to the magnificent plunge pool below located in an open valley. Lunch is served at at Litchfield Café (Apr-Oct) or Wangi Café (Nov-Mar) giving you the chance to relax with fellow travelers before heading off for the afternoon's adventures.
Tolmer Falls is one of three major waterfalls along the western face of the Tabletop Ranges. A short walk will reward you with breathtaking views of the falls. Next up is a visit to Wangi Falls where you have the opportunity to swim. From April 2018 you will make a stop at Howard Spring Nature Park, where you will have the chance to feed the Barramundi & Turtles before returning to Darwin by early evening.

Fitness requirement: Low to moderate level of fitness required. Florence Falls – Climb 100 steel steps to top or walk at steady pace on the uneven base walk to viewing platform. Tolmer Falls – steady 10 minute walk on established path. Wangi Falls – 5 minute walk through rainforest.
