Getting There

Located just 25km south of downtown Auckland, the international airport is an award-winning facility and also the largest airport on the country. Getting to Auckland from the airport is an easy trip under half an hour along State Highway 1, Urban Route 12 and State Highway 20. There are a number of shuttle buses and taxis that make getting to Auckland from the airport both easy and affordable, however it's also recommended that you hire a car and enjoy the stunning scenery of a self-drive holiday in New Zealand.
