Spend your time strolling amongst the vineyards, purchase some wines, or just enjoy the beautiful Australian countryside. Be treated to magnificent views of the Hawkesbury River in the morning. Home to Australia’s oldest wine producing region, the Hunter Valley owes its fame to world class viticulturists and fertile soils.
The first stop will be at McGuigans Winery, where you will experience a private group tasting and visit the cellar door with the opportunity to purchase(at your own expense). Then visit Hunter Valley Resort and enjoy walk amongst the vineyards and learn about the wine making process, a truly informative and educational experience. A delicious lunch is then served accompanied by wine tastings to match. Following lunch you have the chance to purchase (at own expense) a beer tasting paddle from the onsite Brewery.
Take in the views of the Brokenback Ranges as you enjoy the beautiful surrounds of Leogate Estate, tasting their award-winning varietals. The last stop will take you to Hunter Valley Chocolate Company where you can sample their locally made chocolates and fudge, and see the onsite production room. On departing you will head back to Sydney via Freeman's Waterhole and the Expressway to arrive approximately at 6.45pm.
