Getting To Forster & Taree

Located on New South Wales' mid-north coast, getting to Forster and Taree is easy. Situated just off the Pacific Highway, Forster and Taree are an easy 2.5-3 hour drive from Sydney, 2 hours from Newcastle, 5 hours from Tamworth and 8 hours from Brisbane. If you plan on flying into Forster and Taree, the Newcastle Airport services both holiday destinations and operates regular services with Jetstar and Virgin throughout Australia. Shuttle services are also available from the airport to both Forster and Taree. If you prefer to travel by coach, Busways, Forster Coaches, Greyhound Australia and Holiday Coast Connections all operate daily services between Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, Forster and Taree. For those wanting to travel by rail, the XPT train runs services daily between Brisbane and Sydney, stopping in Taree.
