Long Island's weather can be characterised as sub tropical.

During the summer months, the temperature sits at approximately 25 degrees, however, the chance of rainfall in increased during this time of year due to high temperatures and levels of humidity. Winter is essentially non-existent, with temperatures sitting around 21 degrees and very minimal rainfall. The outstanding weather and stunning island scenery, makes Long Island ideal for year-round swimming, snorkelling, water sports and nature walks.

Long Island's tropical climate means the days are warm and the atmosphere is very relaxed. A light jacket or sweater may be required for evenings during the cooler months. Beachwear and casual attire is suitable during the day.
