Palm Bay Resort offers guests a choice of 25 bures, villas and bungalows with all featuring air-conditioning, ceiling fans, bar fridge and kettle. As the resort is self-catering, guests bring their own food and are able to prepare it in the fully equipped guest kitchen. The main food preparation area overlooks the resort pool and is equipped with everything you will need to store and cook your food including crockery, cutlery, cookware and utensils, BBQs, gas burners, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, large fridge and freezer. There is also an island store where you can find items that you may have left behind!
As the sun sets, enjoy a drink by the pool at Palm Bar. Here you will find a great range of spirits, cocktails, beer, wine and cider. Wood-fire pizzas are also available for purchase for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday. Other resort facilities include a dining area, swimming pool, beach pavilion and lounge area, media room, tennis court, bar and day spa.

Serenity Bure: Located a stones throw from the waters edge, these tropical bures sit amongst the gardens. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults & Children.
Beachfront Bure: Located right on the beachfront, these bures offer great ocean views. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults & Children.
1 Bedroom Bungalow: Luxurious self-contained accommodation located right on the beachfront overlooking Palm Bay Beach and the lagoon. The 1 Bedroom Bungalows also include a fully equipped kitchenette containing a microwave oven, stainless steel sink, toaster, coffee plunger plus a good supply of crockery and cutlery. The bedroom has a walk in robe and spacious ensuite and can be closed off with bi-fold doors offering added privacy. Bedding is 1 King Bed OR 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults & Children. A cot can be placed in this room for 1 infant in addition to the maximum capacity.
2 Bedroom Bungalow: Features views across Palm Bay and the lagoon. The 2 Bedroom Bungalows also include a fully equipped kitchenette containing a microwave oven, stainless steel sink, toaster, coffee plunger plus a good supply of crockery and cutlery. The main bedroom has separate air-conditioning, while the second bedroom has a ceiling fan and separate air-conditioning. Bedding is 1 King Bed + 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 5 Adults & Children.
Beachfront Villa: These villas are located right on the beachfront and feature a dining table for two and a 2 seater lounge. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults & Children.
Oceanview Bure: The Bures are located along the hillside with views overlooking Palm Bay Lagoon. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults & Children.
Hibiscus Suite: Elevated and set slightly back from the ocean these rooms offer privacy and incredible ocean views, perfect for couples. This room features a fully equipped kitchenette including bar fridge, microwave oven, stainless steel sink, toaster, kettle and coffee plunger. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults & Children.
Ocean View House: This luxurious two story, two bedroom house features a spacious lounge, two bathrooms, kitchen and full sized decking with BBQ facilities. Bedding is 2 Queen Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & Children.
Platinum House: Located on the hillside offering great ocean views this house features a king size master bedroom with sunroom, large wall mounted flat screen TV, ensuite and bar fridge plus a second queen sized bedroom with an additional sun room for private relaxation, a fully equipped modern kitchen, dining and lounge area with large flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo plus a separate laundry and guest bathroom. Bedding is 1 King Bed + 1 Queen Bed. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & Children.
This resort is a self catering property and you will need to bring your own food or buy or supplement your food provisions from the store (located on site). The main food preparation area overlooking the resort pool is equipped with everything you will need to store and cook your food including crockery, cutlery, cookware and utensils, BBQs, gas burners, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, large fridge and freezer.
The best places to get some groceries before heading to the island are Cannonvale Coles, Airlie Beach Woolworths or Hamilton Island IGA. Palm Bay Resort also recommends a number of external caterers, ask us for more details.
The bistro style restaurant on site offers lunch and dinner daily in peak season and 5 days a week during February, March, April. The restaurant also offers a simple breakfast on the weekends.
Palm Bay Bar: Offers a range of spirits, cocktails, beer, wine and cider. Every evening at sunset, there is a happy hour with beer, wine and 2 cocktails that will change on a daily basis.
Palm Bay Resort has a strict no BYO alcohol policy.
