Enjoy two days jam packed with 4WDing, swimming, snorkelling, sand boarding, spectacular views and the marine life of Moreton Island.
Accommodation is at Tangalooma Island Resort allowing you to enjoy access to an excellent range of facilities including swimming pools, tennis courts and onsite activities such as archery.
Day 1: Enjoy morning tea on the sea ferry as you cruise the Moreton Bay Marine Park. Arriving on beautiful Moreton Island join your Eco guided 4WD tour which starts with getting your blood pumping with an adventure of sand boarding on the dunes. You'll then be taken past Spitfire Creek and the ancient Aboriginal midden sites before enjoying a picnic lunch served looking out over the Eastern surf beach before you head to Blue Lagoon for swimming and spectacular freshwater snorkelling. Stroll the deserted beaches of Honeymoon Bay and North Point then from there it's onto Cape Moreton Lighthouse for some wildlife spotting and marvellous views before returning for the night to your hotel accommodation at Tangalooma Island Resort for the unique opportunity to hand feed wild dolphins.
Day 2: A more subdued end to your tour, this second day begins with complimentary resort facilities and activities before relaxing on the beach or a stroll along the jetty to feed the pelicans. Looking out over the west coast you can spot turtles, dugongs and dolphins before moving on to the famous Tangalooma Wrecks and an optional range of activities including swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving, sand tobogganing or whale watching. Returning to Brisbane via the Bay and River Cruise, the luxury catamaran is the perfect way to wrap up your day.
