One of the best holidays ive had.
A fantastic, beautiful holiday resort.
Everything on the island was superb
As above the hotel was better than we expected and the staff were wonderful.
Hoping to go again soon.
My husband and I just returned and had the best time. The island is a paradise and the staff are absolutely awesome, nothing is too much trouble. We are already looking at booking again for next year. Can't wait!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day break and would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our accommodation was on the 14th floor and had a beautiful view.
The weather was not good, but we enjoyed our stay!
Been here last first week of May 2017.
It was four days vacation stay at the Island half of it was Rainy and Windy but the experience is totally satifying.
A place of divine beauty & ambience with highly professional but humanly cheerful staff providing a very personal experience. Outstanding room with breathtaking sunrise view to greet each day. Incredible food!!! Great value for $ & not outrageously priced...planning next trip already!
The Island had done a fantastic job of cleanup only two weeks after cyclone. My only one complaint was the beds in the room which were way beyond there lifespan and badly needed upgrading.
We cannot recommend the Reef View Resort highly enough, especially during and after cyclone Debbie. All the staff just could not do enough to make sure everyone was safe and well looked after. They were always courteous, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Obviously well prepared for such an event as the cyclone. We wouldn't recommend staying anywhere else on Hamilton Island.
We recently travelled here for our honeymoon, perfect location on the island. The rooms were a bit dated and could do with a spruce up but were very clean and spacious. The service from everyone was outstanding and you cant beat the view!
The Reef View Hotel was a great stay for my family (hubby & 2 kids aged 9 and 5). Close proximity to the beach and resort activities which was great! The hotel pool was lovely, but the Pool Terrace Restaurant was very hit and miss! Service was incredibly slow and meals coming out (once we finally ordered) were even slower! Meals were inconsistent (you could order the same thing on a different night and it was a different meal!). Unfortunately the slow service drove us crazy in the end... (and it appeared fellow diners were experiencing the same frustrations).
Rooms shocking..smell badly of damp on floors below 4h floor. Had to request to be moved. Coming from a brand new apartment, the accommodation is in a serious need of a refurb. Beds definitely need attending to ASAP. Husband slept on chairs as more comfortable. Sun beds need to be marked no reserving and more loungers in beach and shade over pools. Service was fantastic and good brilliant. Not expensive. If can address issues above, this would be best resort Australia has to offer on East Coast. Wildlife is amazing. Would stay Palm bungalows next time.
enjoyed our stay and will be back. the Reefview has everything going for it and can imagine it would have been luxurious when first built. It is a little tired now but clean, comfortable and has everything needed for the family. Useful to have the extra benefit of coin operated laundry, especially good when travelling with the family. Location good, easy access to everything.
Amazing place on a great island. It has everything you need. The service is great and the activities very comprehensive.
The hotel was nice, it wasn't particularly outstanding, but that's OK because the island itself is the jewel. The room was large, it had a fridge and we requested a microwave which the hotel provided. We ate out and were able to eat our leftovers for lunch. Breakfast was included, and the breakfast was very good- large selection of food, including a chef making omlets to your liking. The island was very clean, the views are out of this world. by the yacht club you lived a little luxury, the pools were beautiful and you can't get tired of anything over the course of a week since there are enough variances of the same thing to keep you on your toes. We did tours from all three tour operators on the islands, Cruise whitsundays, Explorer and Hamilton island Water Sports. HI Water Sports is smaller than the other two tour operators but they have great tours- more intimate and tailored to the groups liking. My favourite tour was the ALL DAY trip to Whitehaven beach and Hill Inlet. that place is a must see!
Stayed in a coral sea view room and the view was amazing, with daily visits from the island cocktaoos. All inclusive breakfast buffet was delicious each morning. Swimming pools incredible and plenty to do nearby. Shuttle bus service also great! Beds are comfortable but room is outdated, they need to re-do bathrooms, carpets and curtains to make it look more high quality for what you pay for.
Need more options with food. Especially seafood options! It was limited
$400 per night is a bit to much/ overpriced
The island is beautiful. Well maintained
Enjoyed the interconnecting rooms as allowed for children to have own space
Reef View Hotel was fab and worked well for us as a family of 4. We had two queen size beds which catered for our requirements. Room was spacious and comfortable.
My only issue (which is really no big issue as the cleaners were very nice) was that the times varied on a daily basis. One day the room wasnt cleaned until very late in the afternoon re: 4ish.
Apart from that it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Great place to go for exercise, chilling out, keeping the kids busy, eating and drinking. So much variety. The staff were so friendly and helpful - loved it. Definitely going back. Paradise.
The staff were so friendly and helpful - amazing! Loved the variety of things to do - good value activities or just do nothing! Loved all the different pools and eating venues.
Awesome stay and relaxing week at Hamilton island staying at reef view. A lot of miserable rude people this time, not sure why as the place is beautiful. Cats eye beach got all our attention and is a perfect place to thoroughly relax. As long as you go prepared that you pay a premium for everything on the island. The pub is the best bet for a reasonable priced feed and the bakery looks after lunch. The included breakfast at reef view is great also. Would be nice if they had more choice of cheaper restaurants on the island as the kids eat free is a waste of time and a bit of a gimmick once your kids are older than 8.
We had a great 5 day break starting with an up-grade to the 18th floor and a welcome of 2 bottles of wine and a fruit platter. A few days later we were presented with a cheese platter. The restaurants and activities are all well managed and a pleasure to enjoy. We didn't take the reef tour as we'd both been there before, but instead had a tour of Dent Island's golf course and stayed on for an excellent lunch with the most perfect view. It was a beautiful sunny day and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Buzzing around the Island in a buggy was great fun, although we could have quite easily managed just by using the free Green and Orange Buses. We hope to return again. This was our 4th visit and even better than before because of the excellent work that has been done with the management of the Island.
The first two floors are noisy as they are close to the reception area
no one can predict the weather, rained most of the time on and off, and storms coming through.
trying to organize tours was difficult as tour operators would not wait for each other, as one tour would finish at 5.oçlock and another would start at 5. needs better coronation
Obviously beautiful location. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and everything works. The lifts are a bit of an eyesore outside -personal opinion only
Holiday worth taking. Accommodation was excellent and services within hotel were of high degree. A beautiful part of Australia and destination we definitely will visit again.
We had a great stay at The Reef Resort. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Our first visit to the island and hopefully not our last.
We thoroughly enjoyed our five days at Hamilton Island. The staff at The Reef Resort were very friendly and accommodating. Would certainly stay there again. The shuttle buses were terrific and it seems that all who work on the island are committed to ensuring that all who visit enjoy their stay.
The best place to eat was the Marina Tavern which had great meals and atmosphere for a reasonable price.
The only negative place was the yacht club where we had to wait 25 mins for a couple of drinks at the Bommie bar. Their system needs a shake up.
The only thing was the daily room clean at the reef view resort could've been better. Bathroom floor was never mopped and room was never vacuumed.
Great holiday location, sadly a little limited when the weather is poor
This place was awesome, the view was terrific, the staff were friendly, the room was clean and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay.
Sorry for not closing the door of balcony x2 when nobody was in room. So birds made mess in rooms, staff had to clean room at 2200.
Location, room, service, and dining options were nice but definitely overpriced to stay at for what you got (over $1000 for just three nights) for a relatively simple room.
Fantastic hotel with great ocean views
Thanks for a great holiday
Rooms were generously sized, bathrooms massive. Quiet and clean. Menu at restaurant was limiting however plenty of dining options on the island all close in proximity.
We found the islands well supported with services, everyone was friendly and couldn't do enough to make your stay enjoyable and pleasurable., which gave plenty of opportunity to unwind, relax and take in the beauty and tranquility of Hamilton Island and the Whitsundays.
will go again
Fantastic views to wake up to. Plenty of water activities.
We had the family interconnecting room. Best room for families especially with toddlers. Everything was close by to us (walking distance). We had free use of swimming equipment and facilities. There is a kid friendly pool nearby, water was knee deep for toddlers and babies. A great family weekend getaway for us.
Received a complimentary bottle of wine and a card from the Manager, all staff everywhere on the Island were exceptional to say the least. Six Star Rating.
Regards, Martin & Ray Lund
I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of my stay. A fabulous hotel with wonderful staff, food and facilities. The view from my room was absolutely incredible. A total joy.... Even the sunglasses-stealing cockatoos are gorgeous..
Whilst I always happily share my holiday accommodation experiences with friends, I seldom actually recommend a hotel. In this instance I've had no hesitation in recommending The Reef View to everyone here at home. It was simply great....
overall Hamilton island is excellent ,Food choices are limited and quality is only average, they do not understand fine dining experience which is a shame.recomend short stays only.
Easy stress free island holiday
Rooms with huge potential but becoming dated. Our room smelled musty and despite housekeeping using a an ozone machine it made little difference. The breakfast was excellent and we liked the option of eating at resort centre which was less crowded. Enjoyed the tours and overall this was a good package. The golf views were stunning, expensive but worth cost!
We stayed at The Reef View. Initially we were on the 1st floor but we were disappointed with the view. Upgraded to the 15th and were so happy we did. Spectacular views. Lazy mornings reading on the balcony and champagne in the evenings watching the sun over the water was idyllic. Located in a fantastic spot on the island. Really easy to get around. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We have nothing negative to say about the entire holiday. We would definitely come back and stay again.
A wonderful picturesque location! Staff were all lovely & helpful. Pools were beautiful. Dining options were great but we were disappointed that the "Steakhouse" was no longer available & has been replaced by another restaurant. It features in the video that is played at the resort even now, but of course, is not there. We were impressed with the Island Shuttle services. Our previous visit was 15 years earlier and we definitely noticed the differences since then! Most of these are positive ones - a lot of upgrades without the island losing its character and beauty. PS: Really appreciated the card & bottle of bubbly from management - for our wedding anniversary.
Hamilton Island is beautiful & all facilities/service world class.
The entire staff on Hamilton Island as a whole, as well as the independent cruise services, were pleasantly cheerful and offered professional service. Both my mother and myself appreciated the guidance and service offered by the hotel staff in organising additional tours & activities to fully maximise our time on Hamilton.
The daily housekeeping service made us feel like we had magical creatures looking after all our accommodation needs that we hardly had to lift a finger. Also, the view from our room was so magnificent to wake up to every morning, it was a shame to have to leave. So much so, I am already planning a return holiday for next year with my girlfriend this time :)
Had a great time, room was very big which was great with the family but a little run down. I would stay here again, Hamilton Island was great, heaps to do.
The staff were very friendly.
Aside from it being an entire "production" (from the airport, on the transfer bus, to the concierge desk, check-in before the room is available, use locker room for luggage and to freshen up, to finding your bag wasn't delivered to your room, smoking from the people in the next room intolerable, transferring to a new room THE FOLLOWING DAY, ...), the rest is blissful! It's not designed for single people though. Even the menu reflected that in one of the nicer restaurants near the hotel: Sails (steak for two, chicken for two, .. you get the point). There are beautiful parts to enjoy but getting there is a whole other story. Be ready for lots of patience. The trip to the GBR is 2 hours going and 2 hours back; Whitehaven Beach was 45 mins going and 90 min coming back. By far my favorite was Whitehaven Beach, except the "half day" was really 2.5 hrs, there rest of the half day is on the ferry with nothing to do. One person really stood out. Front desk Assistant Manager: Brooke. Really ensured my stay was nice and comfortable. The property itself needs a little revamp and personality but it was adequate. I'm just not sure if was worth the high price range. Glad I visited Hamilton Island but not sure if it warrants a return visit.
Excellent service by staff, good food, great island transport facilities. Unless the Wildlife Park is included in your rate, don't bother going as if you had to pay to go in it is not worth it.
Great place for families ,safe .,not that suitable for people in there 20's could be a bit slow of a pace. We stayed on the first floor so no real view except for people looking our direction on the lounge chairs around the pool. Watch out for the Cockatoo's : )
Good position on the Island free bus service good. We had trouble with our video or TV ..not really about that though. Had a great time would recommend to others.
The Hamilton Island Reef View Hotel is a great place to stay on Hamilton Island. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. The complimentary buffet breakfast was very good, and we enjoyed being able to have breakfast at two other locations nearby. The free shuttle service provided on the island is excellent! We would also like to commend the drivers on the airport buses--we arrived back on the island (from a day at the reef) in a huge downpour. We were so grateful that an airport bus stopped at the Ice cream store bus stop and picked us and other drenched people up. We noticed other airport buses picking up people too. We now know why Hamilton Island is such a popular place to stay.
My brothers and cousins 27 of us in total couldn't decide on a family holiday but we are so glad we did Hamilton island. We had an amazing time. The kids had a ball and so did the adults at one tree hill with all day cocktails. We did have a bit of rain but that didn't deter us. Pool was awesome, water sports on offer was awesome. Great big rooms and wonderful views. We are d finitely going back.
Location is very good ,the scenery , the room is very spacious ,but not enough dry carpet is a little peculiar smell .
Service was great, and room was amazing
Thank you to all the team at the reef view hotel.
We really enjoyed our holiday in Hamilton Island. The Reef View Hotel was in a great location, friendly service and good room size. We will visit again in the future.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hamilton Island and the Reef View. The view from our room was breathtaking, the facilities pitched just right and the staff were exceptionally attentive, friendly and helpful. We wish it didn't have to end.
Beautiful views from level 3 and up. Stayed on the 12th floor. Rooms and bathrooms a little tired in need of some renovation. Breakfast was great, very good selection.
Our fourth time back at this hotel for the view, breakfast and location. Right opposite the main beach and pools, rec club. A bus will take you to the main marina where most restaurants are located.
We had a very pleasant stay, the reef view room is big and clean. The hotel is so close to resorts center. I think the pool is one of the best on the island. Definitely like to go back again.
It was a beautiful trip, great location, very friendly staff and beautiful views.
Thank you :)
We loved staying at the hotel. The use of the facilities and water activities and food spots were convenient, fun and yummy! Everyone was welcoming and happy and we will be returning in no time!
Loved everything about this Hotel. Staff, room, view, food! Awesome! Can't wait to come back.
Great place easy walking distance to everything staff were helpfull
Great location with the very best service
Hamilton Island is a stunning location. The Reef hotel was nice, rooms a bit dated. No kitchen included which made it difficult with small children. Quite a few restaurants on the island and the 'kids eat free' offer was worthwhile. Lots of activities which are hard to do with small kids, but relaxing. Golf buggies available for hire for $90 a day and are needed to get around as so hilly.
Would stay here again.
Had a very relaxing stay. We were in a King suite in the Reef View hotel, which was huge - my favourite was the gigantic bathroom, grey marble with spa bath, double sinks and large shower! Great view waking up and gazing out over the ocean. Nespresso machine provided which was a nice touch, and kettle/tea, apples and complimentary wine. No microwave though which would have been nice for heating up snacks late at night. Fridge was small too. It just meant that you were pretty reliant on the hotel's restaurant and in-room dining service (which was great).
As we booked during school hols we were trying to avoid the hordes of children as much as possible. We would visit the pool and beach early in the morning and later in the evening, for maximum 'calm time'. We also bushwalked to 'Escape Beach' which was empty when we arrived, so we had a 'private beach experience'!
There wasn't much to do in the evenings as you couldn't use the pools then, and there weren't really bars or night spots for adults save the hotel bars, so we'd end up going to sleep really early and waking up early to use the watersports etc instead (which was pretty good actually).
The best things were the Explore tours - we went to Whitehaven beach and did a Great Barrier Reef snorkel tour. Great service, super friendly and we had a lovely time. Whitehaven in particular was amazing. Also did a sunset sail which was very relaxing.
Overall I'd say that Hamilton was a good place for a relaxing getaway, and particularly good for families. But if you wanted a super-romantic, more private experience, unless you were willing to shell out for Qualia (or went during school time) you might consider Fiji instead!
Couldn't have asked for anything better. Loved every minute
Fantastic view and room service was great!
Great rooms, really big and beautiful bathrooms would be great for families as there are 2 double beds in each room
Such a Beautiful setting, Hotel is starting to show it's age but still a great place to stay.
Highly recommend Co Cu Char restaurant for dinner, beautiful food and a view to die for.
Went to Whitehaven Beach for a half day, just stunning. Only downer was my Sunglasses were stolen from our Bag at Cats Eye Beach!
Air travel and accomodation well organised with no problems and would use again.
Reef View Hotel was overall excellent with good size rooms and views to die for.
Loved the breakfasts at Sails, not so good at Reef which could do with a cheer up decor wise espec. the entrance area .Other than that it was totally excellent in all ways
Ouir 4th time and would go again.
We had a great stay at the Reef View Hotel. Our room was massive, in a good location and we enjoyed the complimentary sports equipment
Friendly hotel, large clean rooms with fantastic views. Dinner is reasonable priced menu compared to other restaurants on island
Breakfast buffet was amazing! housekeeping were wonderful, reception were great. The hotel was very clean and everything was organised. Loved the arrival and departure lounges too. Dinner and lunch menu were average though and waitresses were not very friendly or helpful :( male staff at the restaurant and bar were great though :)
Great view overlooking the island and water with a 2 second walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to marina and shops and restuarants. However would stay somewhere else next time due to lack of kitchen and cooking supplies
Weather dependent on level of enjoyment, can get windy and cancels water based activities.
Nice place to stay. Friendly staff, good facilities in a good location.
Very nice hotel and good quality of service
It was our first holiday to Hamilton Island and the Reef View Hotel is definitely in a great location to shops, beach etc. I celebrated my 30th birthday and also our Babymoon. I was given massage oil, a babymoon photography session and yummy chocolates. Service at the hotel was excellent.
Had a very activity filled holiday and enjoyed it thoroughly. Staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful. Room was excellent, only drawback please refill the complimentary coffee, tea and sugar container at least every couple of days. I will definitely be going back.
We found the staff very helpful, polite and happy. The hotel was locate perfect to all things. We have had a beautiful holiday and hopefully will be back soon. Thank you so much.
Very good, Rooms were a little dated but still had amazing stay.
Our stay was great!
The only thing I would appreciate is if you would inform the guests that they need to make reservations at the restaurants. When we came to Hamilton Island all of the restaurants were already booked all the nights and that's a shame since we would love to experience the dinner at other places then just the ones you did not need to prebook.
Excellent views and great access to main resort area. Easy walk to Marina but great access to island with shuttle bus at the door.
The Reef View was perfectly clean, had amazing views (level 5 is perfection), tranquil sounds to relax too, beautiful food (ricotta bruschetta is to die for). Will definately be going back!
Spectacular views, faultless service and efficiency and great breakfast. The highlight for us, though, were the two cruises we went on. We highly recommend the Twilight Sail and the Dinner Cruise!
Our room was large and comfortable with a large bathroom and a great view over the water
The hotel is able to cater for families, older folks and everyone in between. Breakfast excellent.
Staff friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed our stay at the Reef View Hotel, it was clean, well serviced and had a fantastic location. It is a bit older but kept in very good shape, Great for families and people who don't need the newest hotel.
I highly commend the staff of Hamilton Island for their service, and attention to detail.
beautiful view, wonderful staff, everything very clean and tidy
Great value. Didn't need to put hand in pocket all the time. Lots to do. Good organisation with Hotel activities - fun and varied. Stayed in August. Bit noisy at times with roadworks and renovations if you wanted to simply laze around. Need to book early with cruises and restaurants as fully booked early. Get busy on arrival otherwise you will be disappointed (and this wasn't peak season. Package very reasonable. Nice to see in Australia - encourages people to travel in own country. Particularly enjoyed breakfasts and complimentary sunset cruise - did this on last night. Very relaxing and enjoyable - plenty of drinks and excellent service.
Staff were fantastic nothing was too hard and always with a smile
Friendly hotel with plenty of staff to assist. Charge back to room for everything convenient. Coral sea view room seventh floor had a great balcony with lovely views over the beach.
Loved the view
Had everything anyone would wish for on a holiday. Unfortunately the wind was a bit cool but it did not stop our enjoyment
The staff at the Reef View are very friendly, polite and helpful. This make the stay that much more enjoyable.
Pros: (1) direct access by air, (2) room and view (3) staff & service
Cons: (1) traffic, (2) value for money (3) Quality of food in shops
Thoroughly enjoyed all aspects.
We had a fantastic holiday, the hotel was great and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Garden view room was great and had a very comfy bed & pillows. We upgraded to the ocean view room for 2 nights and it had spectacular views well worth it for a couple of nights. Would recommend to anyone.
We have been contemplating going to Hamilton Island for some time but having now completed our holiday there, we WILL BE BACK.
The place is amazing and I enjoyed some of the best food I have had anywhere in the world. Staff were fantastic and extremely friendly.
Quite simply, If you have not been to Hamilton Island then do yourself a treat during the winter months in Melbourne and escape to paradise.
Wonderful holiday at a fantastic location right opposite the beach. Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Rooms were spotless. Restaurant served great meals.Would thoroughly recommend a stay at the Reef View.
Perfectly located with everything one needs for an active, fun holiday doing cool stuff. The service was brilliant and I have already recommended it to all that I have seen on my return.
We have travelled this beautiful country far and wide, so choosing the Reef View Hotel on Hamilton Island was going to compete with many wonderful destinations. We we not disappointed. From the moment of touchdown at HI airport we were treated to an excellent level of service. Transfers and check-in were efficient and then - the room! We walked into a freshly decorated, spacious King room on the 18th floor with a very large bathroom (separate shower, large bath and twin hand basins). The balcony view to Catseye Bay and the Coral Sea was ours for the restful week. All staff were courteous and helpful, and the buffet breakfast selections satisfied all tastes.
Throughout our stay we saw clear evidence that the Reef View is undergoing steady refurbishment.
A most memorable stay in a delightful tropical setting.
Great views & large rooms.
The staff were happy & couldn't have done more for us.
Hamilton Island is awesome.
The staff are so friendly and everything is within walking distance and if not then you can jump onto the free shuttle buses :)
Can't wait to go back :)
The Reef was really really nice, lovely and clean rooms, very comfortable bed and pillows were awesome! The service was outstanding, the girls that came to service the room and fridge were so happy and chatty, nothing was a problem at all. Very impressed with the service and food, would definitely recommend to anyone :)
Cannot fault hotel. Service excellent. Had a problem with in room safe on arrival. Was fixed within 5 minutes.
Fantastic, very relaxing, Accomodation excellent, service excellent, staff friendly all over the island... food lovely especially the steak house, had a wonderful honeymoon. .. thankyou
Overall the hotel is wonderful and the rooms, breakfast and everything to do with it is wonderful. I loved the wild cockatoo's landing on the balconies! It is very nice with lots of offers where you show your room key and get a discount on lots of things. The pool is quite good as you can go for a swim before a delicious buffet breakfast, where you can ask the chef do do eggs the way you like it. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday go to Hamilton Island and relax. The beaches are wonderful and you can show your room key and get free stand up paddle boarding and snorkels. There are excellent staff and very quick service. The rooms are beautiful they are a good size, we had two double beds a couple of chairs, a table, a little kitchen, a big bathroom, a balcony with chairs and tables on it. LOVED IT!
Would definitely recommend
Great place can't wait to stay again
Certainly the best pool on the island, excellent and helpful staff in particular tour booking desk. Lifts amazing! Room really large for 3 adults. Green bus system brilliant. All in all a fantastic venue and I will definitely be back.
A very good experience and I would recommend to anyone. Only negative (which I knew before we went) is that snorkelling close to the resort is not very good. Other than that we had a great time that went by all too quickly.
We really enjoyed out stay at the Reef View Hotel. Very comfortable, beautiful view from our room. Service was great. And the buffet breakfast provided was excellent. Getting around the island was easy and enjoyable, walking or using the buggy. A highly recommended holiday for couples or families!
Really enjoyed the stay, the breakfasts, the view, the room, and the service.
Gorgeous views. Very comfortable bed.
Wide variety of food options, sporting activities, convenient to travel to and beautiful Island and surrounds.
had a great stay the boys at concierge were fantastic ! our veiws were amazing too
Could not fault the excellent room, food and service at the Reef Hotel. Wonderful view of Catseye beach from our balcony. Will definitely be going back again.
Our holliday was terrific we thouroughly enjoyed it.
Everything was excellent !!!
Nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. Would recommend Reef View to anyone. Can't wait to get back there
Requested room on level 17, which was given to us we had a great view of the sea. Received bottle of champagne, chocolates and a card from the manager for our wedding anniversary. Staff at tour desk extremely helpful. Great buffet breakfast.
Loved every minute. Nothing was to much trouble
WILL RETURN , WE PROBABLY WILL GO BACK WHEN THE WEATHER IS BETTER
Everything what we expected and more, just the most perfect place
great place to stay, great deal with included breakfast, sunset cruise was wonderfull, lots to do on Island or not do
staff very friendly and accomadating
would recommend to everyone to come and stay
A lovely comfortable room with everything you could wish for. The attractions, pool, restaurant, wildlife and views super. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Close to everything.
Nice room, good service, room service too expensive.
Hamilton Island was a place we always wanted to visit. Our 40th Wedding Anniversary was an ideal opportunity. I phoned the Hotel to place a bottle of champagne in our room to surprise may wife. They asked what was the occasion & I told them. They upgraded our room to an Ocean View. My wife was confused when we were first going to our room. She kept saying that this is not an Garden View Room, what is going on. When we walked into our room & she saw the bubbly she was thrilled. I told her what I did & what the Hotel did for us. The room number that we stayed in was appreciated (1313). I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Hotel for updating our room & the bubbly. Incidentally the king sized bed was the best I have slept on in all our travels. It was hard coming home to our Queen bed. The view from our bed was magnificent. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
we stayed 10 days and all 10 were packed with fun and adventure. this is the most beautiful place ever. The staff were awesome, views to die for, would definitely go back, we had friends join us for the last 6 days, so our age groups ranged from 8 months old to 56, there was something for everyone to do
Stayed at the Reef View Hamilton Island for 6 nights and it was the most wonderful holiday we have ever been on.
Staff are friendly and helpful, location is stunning.
Excellent, highly recommended so many extra's offered at no extra cost.
beautiful location, lots to see & do or you can just relax
My feed back is covered in the pole above, but I would also like to single out your Concierge Alycia for a special mention. Her professionallism, friendliness, and charm made the visit to the hotel all the more rewarding. We had a wonderful, albeit breif. We have no problems at all rcommending your hotel to anyone. Many thanks for making a stay a great one.
My whole family had an absolute ball, not a moment went by where the kids told me they were bored, any holidaying parent knows this is a huge plus for any resort. A beautiful part of Australia that everybody should see.
eay to spend the time doing lots of interesting activities
Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, one minor thing was our room...masking tape at the end of the bed wasn't very attractive
Just loved every moment of our stay at The Reef View Hotel. Very clean and modern well maintained. The service was excellent staff just wonderful. Breakfast to die for. Would go back again.
The hotel is nothing too luxurious, however the view is second to none (the coral reef rooms have an absolutely stunning outlook), the rooms are very clean, spacious and practical and the hotel is situated in the best location on the island.
It was my third stay in the hotel and it didn't disappoint. This time round we stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and aside from the fact that the spa looked like it had a little wear and tear on the outside and the suite could do with more BBQ/washing up utensils bowls etc (considering its equipped with a kitchenette and BBQ), it was a perfect suite for 6 of us women to enjoy a fun and relaxing stay.
Would recommend for everyone :)
Unfortunately due to bad weather and one day of illness we didn't get to the reef. So out of 6 full days on the island we only really only had 2 good days.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the reef view- the staff were extremely proffesional and responsive to our needs. Great location with everything you need and more.
We liked it very much
The room servicing staff were friendly but left things out (cooffee some towells minibar restock patchy)
we were very happy with the reef view hotel.. from the welcoming at reception (the lady was very nice and she explained everything in detail) to being checked in early -- which was great. The overall hotel was great in service.. in room dining was great, the efficient cleanliness of the room.
I woudl definetely stay again -- overall hamilton island is absolutely beatiful and I would say that it is easily compared if not surpasses Mykonos and Santorini !
Very clean, children freindly. Over holidays menu very poor.
Minimum of 5 days is a bit too long, it would be good to achieve packages to get discounted or free activities without paying for most of them.
The room was not ready upon our arrival, the building is great but is showing its age, the staff were all friendly and helpful. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay
Staying at Reef View hotel was fantasic! It was in the greatest location and all staff were helpful and kind! It had the most amazing view of all Catseye Beach and plenty of room for all guests!
Great views from room/balcony. Staff service was excellent. Free wi-fi service in hotel lobby!!(and fast too)
Our second visit. Excellent as always. Lots to do as well as to relax. Restaurants varied with excellent food and service. A very enjoyable visit again.
The service was brilliant, staff absolutely wonderful, Island is a tropical paradise I would recommend Hamilton Island to everybody
Coral Sea view rooms are well worth paying for, the view is amazing. Staff were all friendly and willing to make our stay enjoyable. Room was great with a big bathroom and wonderful balcony.
