As the map below shows, Haggerstone Island is a tropical island which enjoys a remote location and as such access is limited. There is no air strip on the island therefore you must catch a private charter from Cairns that will take you to the airstrip on neighbouring Hicks Island.
Virgin Australia, Qantas and Jetstar operate direct flights throughout Australia to Cairns. Flying time from Brisbane is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, Sydney is 3 hours and Melbourne is approximately 3 and a half hours. Cairns International airport also has direct flights arriving from many International destinations including, New Zealand, Japan and South East Asia.

Jetstar: Departing from Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Melbourne direct daily to Cairns and from Adelaide and Perth 4 days a week.
Qantas: Provide daily direct flights from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Darwin. Direct flights are also available from Auckland, New Zealand.
Qantaslink: Qantas regional airline provide direct flights from Alice Springs, Ayers Rock, Gladstone, Gove Mackay, Horn Island, Thursday Island, Townsville, Weipa, Hamilton Island.
The transfer flight to Hicks Island takes approximately 2 hours to make its way up the Cape York coastline and over the northern Great Barrier Reef. From here, a boat will then take you the 20 minute trip over the water to Haggerstone Island.
We recommend staying in Cairns the night before you're due to depart as the charter leaves early in the morning. Guests are also advised to restrict their luggage to 15kg.
