Hervey Bay Whale Watching offers Quick Cat II, an ideal way to see the whales in their natural environment. If you are staying in Hervey Bay during the migrating season this is one of the must do tours. The whales migrate North each year, the humpback whales journey to warmer waters to mate and give birth, stopping in at the protected waters of Hervey Bay with their new calves.
Join the experienced crew of Quick Cat II for a close encounter with one of the most revered mammals on the planet, the humpback whale.
Quick Cat II will cruise you out in comfort and luxury for your half day whale watching trip where you can witness the humpbacks playfully breeching, spy hoping and lunging beneath the vessel.
Reach out and almost touch these massive mammals as they glide up to the side of the boat and play just meters away, and don't forget your camera for that photo of a lifetime.
Quick Cat ll was custom designed and includes large upper and lower decks for uncrowded viewing, as well as special features such as the hydrophone and underwater viewing for an even closer encounter with the whales. Another exclusive feature to Quick Cat II is the spotter plane, a unique way of spotting the whales location for the day which allows quicker access to the mammals and more time out on the water. Quick Cat II also includes wheelchair access, a fully licensed bar and guaranteed sightings.
