The Moore Reef Pontoon is just 26 nautical miles off the coast of Cairns and offers visitors a range of activities to enhance their Great Barrier Reef experience. With so many brightly coloured corals and marine life species to discover, guests can choose to see the reef by snorkelling, diving (additional costs), take a glass bottom boat tour or board a semi-submersible vessel. All snorkelling equipment is provided as well as basic snorkelling instructions and a safe snorkelling enclosure. The expert marine naturalist will also provide some interesting facts about the marine life on the reef.

Travel by fast air-conditioned catamaran to Outer Reef Pontoon. Once you are out on the pontoon enjoy snorkelling, glass bottom boat and semi-submersible tours, touch tank presentation, all diving options and fish feeding and a delicious buffet lunch. Around mid-afternoon the day guests depart the pontoon and your hosts introduce you to other guests, pontoon orientation and provide a swag demonstration. Late afternoon Sunlover by Starlight guests will be among the few in the world to witness a Great Barrier Reef sunset while a BBQ dinner is served. Early evening star gazing with your hosts and view uninterrupted southern night sky, spot the Southern Cross and Milky Way.
Wake to a sunrise over the Great Barrier Reef before enjoying a cooked buffet breakfast. After breakfast, morning activities commence where guests can experience an exclusive guided snorkel safari with your host and marine specialists or glass bottom boat tour. Morning tea is provided before the day guests arrive late morning. Enjoy all the day inclusions of the Moore Reef Day Cruise for the remainder of the day. Late afternoon depart the Outer Reef Pontoon and head back to Cairns.
