A big Bula vinaka to the staff there at Anchorage. A note to say thank you for the great service given to us during our short stay there. We were very well taken care of. A very big thank you to Titi the housemaid for doing a wonderful job with keeping our villas and oceanview rooms serviced each day. A brilliant job done by her and making our stay a real memorable one. To the restaurant and bar staff ...food was great and bar service also great! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
Been going there for 5 years. The Management and staff are very helpful and friendly,( have made a lot of friends). Accommodation is good, service is good. Food is buffet & all good (no complaints). Warm & sunny the whole time. Can swim all day long in the ocean as there is no sand bar.
The Location is good- not far from the Airport, quiet and relaxed.
The Staff are very friendly. The Rooms are Great, but not new.
There is no white sand on the beach but the pool is great and clean.
A very pleasant resort to stay at. Overall we had a fantastic time. and would definitely go back to Anchorage Resort.
I was travelling alone, first time in Fiji. Anchorage staff really helped me plan my sailing cruises to the islands.
Would recommend to anyone looking for some serious R & R :)
The staff at the restaurant were outstanding. They went the extra mile to be friendly. Our room was located next to the pool. The quality of meals seemed to depend on the chef. Portions were generous.Overall a good 7/10.
Anchorage was perfect for me, a single traveller. A quieter type of place, not a party place. Pretty laidback. Only down side for me was no local buses coming past the resort. Taxis only. Lovely staff.
The choice of Anchorage was as a convalescing place, somewhere firiendly, pleasant and affordable. It was a great success, a memorable stay. Above all, the staff were wonderful.
My husband and I stayed at the Anchorage for 3 nights and it was great. This was our first time to Fiji. We stayed at a 5 star resort on the Coral Coast for 7 nights and then onto the Anchorage. We really enjoyed our time at the Anchorage and the hospitality from the staff was great. Great food that you can eat and a very relaxed environment. We will be going back next year and staying for 7 nights.
I am so thankful to all the staff at Anchorage beach resort, they made our wedding day stress free and perfect.Everything was taken care of and the staff there go above and beyond to ensure all goes to plan.We stayed there for a week and i would be happy to return ....Thankyou
The ideal place for our relaxing holiday. This is not just another hotel that has all the standard amenities. Rooms are scattered around the property with natural landscaping. Restaurant and the Swimming pool are next to each other overlooking the beach with a view of surrounding mountains on the main land and few of the other island resorts. Guests visiting the restaurant and the pool from dawn to late night reminded us a small community in a country town.
We enjoyed live music in the evenings and the performances by the traditional dancers at night.
New year's eve special buffet, music and fire dancers added an unforgettable experience to our stay at Anchorage.
Day trip to Beachcomber island also was a fantastic experience.
Special mention must be made to thank the management and the friendly staff for continuing all their services withou compromising the quality even after a cyclone disaster. The mains power supply was completely cut from the property and the hotel was 100% run by it's own power generator. Form free wi-fi to air conditioners, hot water, garden lights and the swimming pool were all functioning without any interruption during the whole week we were there while the workers were seen fixing damaged power lines on the road.
All the staff were friendly with the exception of 1 lady (not Lyn lyn) at reception. The staff work very hard and always have a smile on their face. I would definately stay there again though. This property will be in my recommendations for my fellow travellers and will be using your site again. Many thanks for making my holiday a success.. Vinaka.
We stayed in mountain view spa room our outlook was beautiful.Climb up hill after a few cocktails was a challenge but well worth it have to do some exercise after all.Cane train runs right through resort but is more of a problem for ocean view rooms, although in saying that its not overly noisy and well its their life.Staff were delightful.Room was clean and spacious anyway you dont spend much time in it.Meals were good especially if you ate their seafood, lobster was out of season so didnt get our Lobster dinner for 2.Was only 20 min to Nandi so no great time lost getting to resort from airport.Great for couples not a kid resort only really pool for entertainment.Would recommend for the budget conscious cheap without being nasty. My husband and I had a lovely relaxing stay and had daily exercise up and down hill thrown in.
We enjoyed our time here. The staff were very friendly, room was nice. Location was good, not far in taxi to towns. Fantastic time at Beachcomber Island, although we felt the boat could have more seating. We were a bit dissapointed in quality of meals.More activities at resort would be good such as basket weaving etc. Overall will go back again.
The staff were so beautiful. They remembered our names and were always so professional yet friendly. I'd go back - and I'm not usually one to do that. The accomodation was really good value - above what was expected for the special price. The restaurant served great meals - a combination of western and Fijian. I'd recommend hiring a car if you like to do as you please. The staff will organise that for you - next time I'd actually pick it up from the airport because it will cost you 30FJD taxi fare to get to the resort anyway. Then again, I know the way now. One road with one turn off but it can be easily missed.
