The staff were unbelievably wonderful and made us feel like part of the family. Thats what Fiji is all about!! My children had the most amazing time. The location is absolutely stunning, and we cannot wait to visit our new found friends again.
Our family had a great time at Treasure Island Resort. Kids eat free option was great and meals were really good. Friendly staff , specially the kids clubs were great and very active.. beautiful beach, easy snorkling and kayaking experience for us and kids. Can do kayaking to nearby Beachcombo Island which is a bonus.. night entertainments are smooth and well organized to give a Fijian experience, including a full Kawa ceremony..overall Treasure Island is the best part of our stay in Fiji..
Amazing location, staff became friends Reef at doorstep
Loved the fact that this island is 50% owned by the Fijian people. Definitely a plus for me and already planning a return visit mid next year with 3 other grandma's for a relaxing girls week away. Staff genuinely friendly and happy, not like some staff at mainland resorts.
Stayed 5 nights with 3 young kids under 9. Great pool and great shows/performances every night. Snorkeling was the best experience for kids. Loved it and should have spent less time on mainland and more time on treasure island - island beaches are the best
We had a fantastic time. Great people and location. If there was one thing to say is the place could have a bigger pool.
Great for families of course, best things- food, their staff, cocktail hour, the dances, the snorkelling, the turtles hammocks, KIds club, massages. Also totally recommend "Tours by locals" if you go over to the main island.
Such a beautiful place, all the staff were amazing, place was beautiful beaches were amazing. Can’t wait to return!
We stayed at Treasure with 3 other families and we had the best time! Staff go over and beyond to make sure you have a happy and memorable stay which we all did. We will be going back for sure!
Treasure Island is just that, a Treasure. We stayed 7 nights, family of 4. The island is 50% owned by the fijians working on the island and they love and look after it. They are the happiest people and they truly touch your soul. My 7 year old and I were in tears when we left. The food was fantastic each night, loved the deli bar for lunch sandwiches. The bures have all been upgraded with new bigger bathrooms. It was a magical holiday, I can understand why guests have been up to 15 times. Can't wait to be one of the returning guests. We miss you already, Treasure Island.
Very happy! Had an amazing time. People were extremely helpful and friendly. Snorkeling was out of this world
The Island is lovely, People are lovely and atmosphere is very relaxed. We went as a couple, but this is also a really grat safe place for families with young children. The food could be a bit hit and miss, and prices were relatively high, but still a fantastic place to wind down and relax.
The staff are magnificent, the facilities and activities available are excellent and the food was great (although a little more variety for breakfast would be good).
The kids loved the Turtle Conservation and Iguana’s and they made plenty of friends with other kids (which in turn led dad and mum to make friends with their parents too!)
Overall, a wonderful experience at a beautiful location. Will definitely go back.
Just a note for keen snorkellers: there’s some great snorkelling to be done right off the island but for a really good snorkel, head to the little wedding chapel and snorkel off there. It’s excellent!
It was a great resort to stay at, the kids (4 and 8yr old) both enjoyed the Kids Club. They made new friends and enjoyed the different activities.
The food was ok, however nothing exciting, don't go if you expect to indulge in great food, but in saying that the food wasn't bad. Lovo was delicious. Food and Drink in general was expensive but you work with what you have so we would get extra drinks during happy hour, or skip dinner as we had a late lunch.
Wonderful place to stay. Staff are very attentive and great with the kids. Had no problems in any aspect to speak of.
A great family holiday in the sun. Small island and initially we were concerned the older kids (10 & 8) would get bored quickly on the island, but they didn't. Lots of snorkelling, swimming, tennis and great kids club. Food was ok but started to get tired of the buffet after 5 days.
Great for young families
Friendly staff and well run resort. Sad we had to leave. The Treasure Island farewell song brought tears to my wife’s eyes. Really enjoyed kids club which is ideal for ages 4 to about 10. The parents had their most relaxing holiday in a long time. The reef was great for snorkeling. We did that every day. There were plenty of other ways the friendly staff could keep people entertained, island hopping, sandbar picnics, romantic dinners, watercraft, jet ski tours, scuba diving, snorkel tours and free daily fish feeding. Appreciated the focus on turtle and reef conservation. Would love to go back some time soon.
We've stayed at a lot of resorts in Fiji and Treasure Island Resort is now far and away our favourite. The island is a lush tropical paradise, but the best thing about the resort is the staff, surely the friendliest and most efficient in Fiji, no Fiji time here. We'll be back for sure.
Friendly relaxed resort. Fantastic 10 day holiday with 2 other couples. We choose not to take any meal packages as we alredy had breakfast included. Buffets cost about $82 fjd but were great value and so much choice (would not normally be buffet people). Only about 3 a la cartel choices if you choose not to have buffet. Happy hour cocktails (limited option daily) $14 fjd and beers $7 but only for 1 hour. We also had Teppanyaki, seaside bbq and a special dinner (available by request) and all were fantastic. Treasure island is not high energy but if you want to relax, it’s the place. Jet ski safari is fantastic- do yourself a favor and do this!
Terrific location. Staff are fantastic. Everyone very friendly and accommodating. We had a great premium beachfront room. He had the full meal plan. The food was ok without being exceptional. Overall a very relaxing stay. Highly recommend for families
Great place to relax and unwind, staff were great especially Rusiate, Milly, and all the bar and restaurant staff.
This is a small and beautiful island. It’s not a luxury resort but it is still a fantastic place to stay. The staff are so friendly and they remember your name and make you feel so welcome. Great for people who want to relax. I don’t have kids but the kids club looked like a lot of fun. I met a couple that loved it so much they’d been 21 times.
We loved the island and the staff on it .There was lots to do they would organise anything you wanted for you,or you could just relax and just beach it and snorkel around.
All in all we absolutely loved our stay on Treasure Is and would recommend it to anyone.
From the quick trip across in there own boat to the greeting when we landed the holiday started from day 1.Room was good everything you need and a lot of room, cleaned everyday.the island is not big so not far from anything, the restaurant had a lot of options and buffet dinner themes were great, staff were excellent always keen to help and the happy hours were a chance to meet people.A great little Island. Will be back.
Wonderful kids club. Fantastic friendly staff. Easy transfer airport to island. Great service and facilities.
We absolutely loved our time on Treasure Island. Despite Cyclone Josie we had a ball. Two families with 3 kids total (13, 13 and 10) adored the staff and the facilities. Because of the weather we didn't get a chance to use the stand-up paddle boards, or kayaks but we did get one day of snorkelling just off the beach - I couldn't believe how many fish we did get to see. We got a chance to see some turtles released to the ocean - their conservation program is very special. Again it is the staff that made our stay so wonderful. Everyone took the time to say Bula and made us feel at home. Our boys loved playing volleyball or pool with the staff, the parents loved the cooking demo, cocktail making and cava ceremony. We were very sad to leave and will definitely plan to go back another time.
Prior to going to Treasure Island we read as many reviews as we could. Some people loved it some didn't.
The food was great, we went for the all inclusive meal package and were spoilt for choice. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was definitely worth it. Next time (because we will be going back) I think we will also go for the inclusive drinks package, although limited to the times you can use it I think it would definitely be worthwhile.
They know how to feed the kids as well, hamburgers, hotdogs, crumbed chicken and fish just what kids love to eat and although they feed the kids between 5.30pm and 6.30pm which we thought might not work real well it wasn't a problem at all as if they wanted they could go off to kids club after dinner whilst we had dinner from 7pm.
Which brings us on to Kids Club!! How good is that our eldest boy (9) wasn't real keen on the idea initially but when he got there loved it. Kids club 3 times a day! (morning, afternoon and evening) if you want. Although our kids didn't go to all 3 every day (otherwise it wouldn't have been much of a family holiday) it did give you a chance to just sit and chill when they did.
The evening kids club was great giving us a chance to sit, eat and have a chat, even if it was about the kids! Ma, Nathan and Ice definitely know how to look after the kids, absolute credit to Treasure Island, don't let them go Treasure Island!
If you get the chance do the Teppenyaki with the kids for dinner and a Sunset Bure dinner just for the adults whilst you send the kids to kids club.
Great entertainment every night with the band and something different each night whether it's crab races or the kids club putting on a show.
The staff on Treasure Island absolutely know how to treat their guests Tui, Missy and Serita (?) at the bar, fantastic, right down to the wait staff Soko and others in the dining area and Elvis in the dive shop.
Beautiful water for snorkelling at your doorstep and the free use of kayaks, standup paddle boards and snorkelling gear. If you get the chance also take the time to do the Village visit to Malolo Island a bit of an eye opener for the children to see just how good they have it at home!!
Definitely value for money and we will be going back guaranteed!!
Our family had an amazing stay on Treasure Island. The location was stunning with it's crystal clear waters and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. The wonderful staff really made the effort to talk to our children and remember their names. I highly recommend the meal plan as I feel this is the best value for money and then you don't have to worry about the cost of food when you are there.
We loved our holiday here and would recommend it. We would certainly return.
This was our first family holiday to Fiji and to the Treasure Island Resort. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with smiles, singing and the words “Welcome Home!”
The Fijian people are truly wonderful and the friendships made with our children (and the parents) will live with us for a long time. Some of the highlights and Treasure Island staff to mention include:
* Isoa (aka Ice) teaching our son how to play the Lali (Fijian drum)
* Suka teaching the children how to play the ukulele
* Tui teaching us Fijian words, history and culture
* Maah and Sieta from the Kids club
* Henry who is the king of high fives, guitar playing and singing
* Tevita, Rachael, Alena, Alita, Ruby, Solomani that looked after us at breakfast, lunch and dinner
We particularly want to give a big vinaka (thank you) to Millie who cleaned our bure, worked behind the bar and performed in woman’s hand dance. The Treasure Island band is a true professional ensemble who add their own interpretations to many western classics. The evening sessions of traditional Fijian songs got us off our feet and the Seagull Dance was always a highlight.
What sets Treasure Island apart is that it is partially owned by the landowning families who also work at the resort. This really gives guests a genuine authentic Fijian cultural experience! Upon reflection, this was truly an amazing and memorable holiday. We arrived as strangers and left feeling part of the Island family. A beautiful place for a family holiday with people who are wonderful to be around.
We will be back.
Vinaka vaka levu!
Neal Family (July 2017)
The all- Fijian staff are the draw card of this resort. It is clear how happy all the staff are in their work and how they work as a team. All staff really want you to have a great time. It is clear that substantial financial re-investment has been committed to refreshing the resort with new paint, fresh dining menus and greater landscape maintenance.
All the equipment for the water activities was in good nick and the dive shop staff are very good at watching the water to make sure no one gets out of their depth with water safety. This is the only island (that I am aware that has an environmental program for the hawkesbill turtle) which has the kids involved in the daily care and the release of the grown turtles. This was brilliant as the turtles we saw in 2016 which were the size of a 50cent piece were larger than a dinner plate and were released while we were there this year. The staff were great with kids of all ages and lots of fun with the adults too. For the first time we were able to read a book and have fun with our kids and still feel rested upon return.
First major holiday with all 5 kids. Had a great time. Thank You!
Treasure Island was a truly magic place with friendly, awesome staff. Loved everything about our holiday and we've been to other Fijian resorts and other pacific islands and Treasure Island is right up there. From Henry, to Annie and all the dining room staff and all the guys and girls in the dive shop. You all made our holiday so fantastic!
Treasure island could definitely be described as more of a basic family holiday resort but the views were incredible and the 10 steps to the beach just to die for. However if you are looking for luxury and great service/attention to detail, then this is not the island for you. Also this is very much a family resort - lots of children - which was ok for us as we were travelling for the first time with our 9 month old baby. What really makes this resort however are the staff. Our holiday was also made even more special by the wonderful nannies who looked after our little one so we could go snorkelling and kayaking and enjoy a quiet dinner together - thank you to Cara and Ebbe. Overall a wonderful experience - you will leave with a warm heart and feeling so relaxed and appreciating the Fijian culture from all the wonderful staff and the Fijian traditions they share each night in song and dance.
Treasure resort is an amazing island that offers as much or as little as you would like to do. The Bures are all very close to the beach no matter which one you choose. The staff are absolutely amazing and take great pleasure in ensuring your every need is catered for. Buffet was different every night. The breakfast is the same but still very tasty and cooked to your liking. Alcohol and food is quite pricey but you are on an island and everything has to be brought in so keep that in mind.
Tip: Take reef shoes
Highly recommend staying on this island.
We stayed on Treasure for 9 days and every single day was magical. The people are fantastic, absolutely amazing service, the rooms were wonderful and the food was delicious. We loved every minute of it and will definitely be back!! The only downside is the that food and drinks were very expensive.
had a great time with family, lots of extras that do not cost, like fish feeding (i recommend taking a mask and snorkel fish feeding and jumping off, then swimming back to the beach)
also nice to paddle board to the sandbar.
The best place I've been and the staff is amazing!
pros - great snorkelling, very friendly staff, decent food, fun activities, lots of marine life
cons - Fiji is expensive, Fiji time can be frustrating
It was our 2nd trip to treasure island in less than a year and there is nothing bad i could say about the resort. The location, the island and the food is amazing but what really makes treasure island stand out is the beautiful people that work there that treat you like family and make you feel so welcome. I could not recommend highly enough and I can't wait to go back!
We had a great family holiday! Treasure Island was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The kids had a fantastic time at Kids club -going out on the boat for handline fishing and fish feeding and catching hermit crabs for races were some of their highlights. While the adults enjoyed Happy hour, snorkelling and relaxing by the water!
Loved all the activities available and felt like we got to experience a small part of the Fijian culture. You could do as much or as little as you like. Very happy to recommend Treasure to everyone.
The beachfront bures are so spacious and beautifully looked after, just sit on your deck, hammock or recliners on the beach and relax. Picture postcard perfect views, we loved it! Loads to do - needed more than 4 nights. Recommend a week minimum.
Everything was great, meal menu could be broadened a bit
Treasure island Fiji is such a beautiful place the staff are amazing. We were welcomed into the island with open arms and by the end of our stay everyone knew our names we felt like family !!! Henry and tui stole our children's hearts as they made time everyday to visit us. We couldn't of asked for a better holiday and can't wait to return !!
Our bure was ideally situated at the far end of the island which was private and with an expanse of grass leading to the water. loved the hammocks everywhere. The staff were very friendly. The evening entertainment was great. However the mini bar and extras were very expensive.
We recently stayed on Treasure Island for 7 nights with our 19 and 21 year old children. We could not fault the resort. The accommodation was perfect but next time we will request a bure closer to the water's edge. We stayed reasonably close to the dive shop and the main restaurant area which was very convenient. There are a variety of water sports available but the swimming and snorkelling straight off the island is just magic. The staff are all beautiful, extremely friendly and happy people. Could not fault them at all. The food is reasonably priced, however, a more varied ala carte menu would not go astray. There are other options for dining in their specialised restaurants but these are more expensive. The pool is beautifully located and perfect for lazing around. One week was just perfect to stay. We did an island hop excursion which was good to have a brief look around some of the other islands. Would not hesitate to return.
IF you are after a relaxing holiday in Fiji - Treasure Island is the place to go. It is so laid back and you can do as much or as little as you want. The resort is a little old but comfy no pretentiousness about Treasure Island. We can't say enough wonderful words about the staff - they were wonderful. Food isn't over the top restaurant type but good quality Fijian food. Although the wait for food is sometimes on Fiji time.
It was real paradise!
Loved the fact it was very traditional in culture and people and staff were completely friendly and helpful in every way. Kids loved going to the kids club they had plenty to do when there. Enjoyed just relaxing and enjoying ourselves. Would go back next year and every year after that.
Treasure Island has amazing natural features - reefs all around, sandbar close by, small, yet spacious island. We understood the food options would be limited being a small island. It was ok - no complaints, just not above average. Service was mixed, never bad, average on the whole with some stars.
Premium beach front bure - nice location however room tired and dated.
Beach - postcard beautiful
Teppinyaki grill - The best we ever had a unique fun experience
Breakfast - ordinary
All other meals to high standard and very well priced compared to Denarau pricing.
We had a wonderful stay at Treasure island!
The people are amazing! The accommodation is comfortable and the package met our needs!
Would highly recommend Treasure island! Truely magical!!!
Great place to unwind and celebrate a special occasion. Resort a little tired and food could include more fresh vegetables/salads and fruit options.
As a family we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Treasure Island. The service was amazing and the kids loved all the activities...particularly getting to go out in the boat fishing as part of kids club. The food options were wide and varied. We can't speak highly enough of Treasure Island and the staff, it was an idyllic place to stay and we hope to go back one day.
The food was excellent but NZ restaurant prices were charged for every meal which can make a weeks dining a little expensive. A part meal pacakge suited us as we usually didn't eat lunch and the fish my partner caught ciuld be cookedfor dinner and was great. The breakfasts were very good with a huge range.
The pool was fairly over run with kids but the sea was great anyway (and better for snorkelling). Good sized rooms
The warm, genuine, caring nature of the long time staff at Treasure coupled with the laid back vibe and physically stunning location makes Treasure an absolute paradise. Having returned on 3 occasions over 4 years, seeing the same wonderful staff is testament to how much they are a part of the resort and the reason so many return. When your children cry when leaving and hold onto the kids club carers until departure (literally), you know they have had an amazing experience. Rooms are large, clean, well equipped and steps from the shore. Dining choices are vast and quality of food is excellent. Highly recommend the island hopping trip and parasailing (booked on the island at the dive shop). Perfect for families, solo travellers and couples alike.
Lovely atmosphere for families and kids loved the Kids Club
Thank you to Terry, Ma and Ice!!!!
It was a fantastic relaxing holiday where felt a part of the Fiji Treasure Island family, very friendly staff. Thankyou
Treasure is a small very laid back resort where kids have plenty of freedom as they can't go far. Snorkelling is great as is the beach. Food options are a bit limited but fine for a small island.
Pristine white sandy beach surrounded by crystal clear blue waters, Treasure Island was a little piece of Paradise. Our children 6 and 4 had an absolute ball, swimming, snorkeling and playing in kids club. It was our first family holiday where we got some time to ourselves because the kids were so well entertained. The snorkeling was great and only staying for 1 week we didn't want to do much else apart from relax with a few cocktails. We had been to Treasure previously and the food has improved tremendously. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. You do need to get used to the slow pace of Fiji Time though. Treasure is not like the 5 star resorts but it has a special slightly imperfect charm about it that makes you feel relaxed and at home. I will definitely be returning.
Can't wait to go back, beautiful Fiji island, rooms has been refurbished and great. Staff amazing, kids club fantastic, organising for all activities great. Food is good.
It was very relaxing, but too many families with young kids.
We chose Treasure Island for it's location and were not disappointed. Only a 30 minute trip from Vuda marina and you're there. The island is surrounded by excellent reefs and sealife. The kids especially loved the turtles. The food and drinks are expensive and there are no alternatives so I recommend the meal plan and try to take snacks with you. We stayed in a garden bure but still had waterfront views, every bure does. The difference is which side of the island you are on. Beachfront rooms are located on the swimming side of the island. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. The kids loved the kids club and the pool. Mini golf was a hit as well.
Fabulous snorkeling, friendly staff, great facilities. Would recommend Treasure Island to all families. Our only 2 negative comments are that the cocktails are a bit expensive and there is no affordable access to the surf breaks.
We spent 5 nights on Treasure Island and were very sad to leave. All the bures face the ocean with magnificent views. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and snorkelling was great. We loved everything about it, and the only disappointment was the food - highly priced with very little local dishes.
Instantly relaxing. Room decor modern. Beach front beautiful. Food and catering was very good - the meal times for kids and adults was well designed. Smaller resort, so there wasn't too many people and kids at the pool and meal times. Kids Club was great.
You won't want to leave!!! Everyone and everything was amazing!!!! The room, the Staff, the reef.
we had a lovely beach view bure only metres form the beach. buffet food was great and varied enough to keep a vegetarian, an omnivore and a picky 4 year old happy for every meal. Kids club was varied and exciting and meant we got some much needed breaks. Cant wait to return!
Location, facilities and activities all highlights of this resort.
Food limited to set meal times which was difficult with small children (1/3yrs) . Would go again for sure!
absolutely wonderful island for swimming and snorkeling, and two nights were not nearly enough time to get the full benefits the island has to offer. the resort is very clean and the staff were very accommodating. kids had a ball with the nightly kids club. the only negatives were the standard of the food and the variety on offer, and the slow restaurant service (and fighting the fly's for your food)
Celebrated my 30th Birthday on Treasure Island. They were so kind and helpful accomodating our needs and adding surprises for my celebration. The whole island is stunning and what you would call paradise!!
Traveled for friends wedding which was exceptionally well organised with beautiful three course meal and very attentive staff the whole night. Wonderful staff throughout property nothing too much trouble, very clean and well maintained, would stay again.
Enjoyed our stay on Treasure. Pools are great as are the water based activities. Most bures are very close to the water.
We had a lovely time at treasure island. Plenty of activities to do on the island. Great infinity pool. We had an island bure which was small but clean and well appointed. The view from the room was amazing, we were right on the beach with our own hammock. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at treasure island, they were extremely friendly and welcoming. My only negative about the island was the buffet lunch and dinners which were very average. We did pay extra to have a private teppanyaki dinner in a beachside bure which I highly recommend, the food was delicious. Also, the Asian station which cooks stir frys to order was also a better option than the buffet. Overall, we had a fantastic time on treasure island.
Had a great stay and was what we expected. If you are prepared for lots of kids (having heaps of fun) and above average buffet food you will like it peace and quiet no so much. Dissapointed they charged for snorkeling gear and kayaks. Recommend choosing bure so away from prevailing wind and maitenance shed.
We loved our stay. We have a 3.5 year old daughter and we couldn't tell her we were going home she wanted to stay on Treasure Island forever. The staff were wonderful and very caring.
Loved treasure island. Gorgeous island and beautiful people. Staff became like family, always helpful and friendly and loved the kids. Would definately go back.
Beutiful place and perfect for a secluded and relaxed holiday.
We have just returned from 10 wonderful and relaxing days on Treasure Island with our family of 5. It was everything that we hoped for - chilled and serene, great staff, great food, wonderful kids club. If you are looking for a relaxed and laidback family holiday, beautiful tropical island, Fijian hospitality and warmth, comfortable facilities, but with bare feet and not high heels, then I highly recommend Treasure Island.
My wife & I had an amazing time, and my 6 year old girl had the time of her little life!!, the kid club is fantastic and so well run, would not hesitate to go back.
This was my 6th time to Fiji and have done numerous dive's on all visits, I did two dive's whilst on Treasure and the two Fijian guys that took me were great! I would have loved to have done some fishing and maybe some more diving however I didn't feel very welcomed by the dive/water sports manager (English gentleman I think)
All in all a fantastic holiday and would recommend for all families.
An amazing destination. The people who work there are incredibly helpful, resort was clean, food was good and was very relaxing. So many activities for adults and children when you want something to do.
Treasure Island caters for families, with food and kids club free and evening meals set up for no children it did give couples time on their own. The location was idyllic and snorkling, lunch on the sandbar were all very reasonable. The pool is gorgeous and the main facility, therefore would have loved them to scrub and clean debris daily as it was mouldy all over the sides. Staff were also hard to find and could definitely make more bar sales if they came to pool area for service, it seems under utilised. Overall the beach and activities were amazing and gave you contact with the local culture you don't experience on the mainland. We would return, and many families there were returnees which is praise in itself.
Wonderful family holiday!!!!!
Fantastic staff..Food good
Managers Irene and Raymond doing an awesome job. Great island for couples , family's with baby's or teenagers. Kids club and baby sitters. Lots of activities on offer or just relax by pool or on the clean white sand beach.
Very relaxing and nothing was too much trouble.
Great little island with lovely people.
A fabulous place to unwind!
We had an Seaview room for 5 nights with a 3 year old. Was probably long enough for us as we like to do lots of activities and there is only one restaurant. Which was perfect, but we couldn't have stayed for two weeks.
Pool was amazing, kids club fantastic and the staff in general just great.
An enjoyable week on the island, with great facilities and friendly staff. The kids enjoyed kids club and the grown ups enjoyed relaxing and the diving.
Treasure island is a feast for the eyes, views in every direction. The bure's are clean and well presented, the staff are lovely and friendly. My children had a blast at kids club, so happy kids, happy mum and dad!
We spend 5 nights in this island, many interesting activities here. Nice view of sea and coral. The room is clean and comfortable
We loved our stay on Treasure island and so did our two young children (7&5). The beach was fantastic for snorkelling all around the island, the pool was great and very picturesque, the accommodation was very nice, the food was pretty good and changed daily, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the kids club was very good!
Loved this island and we plan to come back. have recommended it to several friends already!
Returned to Treasure Island as a family having previously visited as a couple. Still as wonderful as we remembered. Underwent a massive refurbishment in 2013. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are amazing and entertaining. A truly memorable family holiday and we look forward to returning again soon.
Relaxed island where you feel like one of the family. Staff love their job and are attentive and friendly. Great place to kick back and relax with a young family. Fantastic kids club and pool for young children. Menu varied from day to day. Food of good quality. Fantastic snorkelling.
A must for all families that got to Fiji. You felt like you were a million miles away. The staff where very welcoming and friendly. The kids loved the kids club and so did we.
And the food was surpereb.
If you expect a 5 star hotel, don´t go to Treasure Island.
But if you want 5 star staff , I have no doubt that you must chooseTreasure Island ; everyone one working there want the best for the client.
You feel better than if you were at home; all people with a smile all time, helping you in everything you want.
For young couples with small children is a very good option, because the kids club is excellent.
I think is a wonderful place for everyone.
There is a good beach, the swimming pool is exactly as appears in all photographs. Very good food , drinks and fun. All you need for the best holidays
Great place for a holiday already wanting to plan our next trip
We chose Treasure because it is only half an hour from Denarau Harbour, and had great accommodation and meal packages. Once we arrived we instantly felt like part of the extended family of ALL the staff! They were just wonderful and happy to share their knowledge of the Fiji Islands and Fijian life. The kids club was excellent for our 11 year old son, who had similar aged children all the time. The dive shop staff were great, even though I couldn't get a dive in because of the weather on that particular day.
Great stay at Treasure Island once again!
Had 5 lovely days at Treasure. Bures are comfy and beach is magnificent.
Food is good quality but a bit repetitive.
I can highly reccomend the hammocks!!
We went (without our kids) for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The location was fantastic and the food, especially dinner, was AMAZING! The staff were fantastic. Even on our way home, the staff stayed with us after we got off the boat until our car transfer arrived! We were even lucky enough to have a night with the staff sitting around having kava and listening to their songs - very special for us!
Even though we were kid free, there was loads of space to not be around kids. However, our kids would love it and the families that were there at the same time seem to be loving it.
Get organised, save some money and go!
Our family had a fabulous time on Treasure Island last week, the resort is stunning, staff are very friendly and welcoming and food was lovely. We will definitely be back, our kids cried when we left they loved it so much.
The friendly staff and relaxed environment make it impossible not to fall in love with treasure Island.
We loved Treasure Island - beautiful sea, great weather, very relaxing and the lovely friendly staff on the island made it a great holiday. However the food was not that great - steak was tough most of the time; not that much variety considering it is the only place you can eat.
We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Treasure Island - the only problem was that it was too short!!! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing and the location and beauty of the island fantastic. We were able to do exactly what we wanted which was to completely unwind and relax. We also really liked the family feel of the resort and laid back approach of the staff - it felt very homely :)
Buildings dated, fantastic swiming pools, staff friendly and love kids. Menu limited.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The highlight for us was the snorkelling over the reef just swimming out on our own from the beach. Every time we went out we saw new fish species and the water was so clear. We had a great vacation.
Lovely island and the staff are great. The rooms could be better, the power went out the first morning and we had no hot water. The air conditioner was broken and had been repaired with a band-aid. Despite this, we had a lovely time and so did our 2 year old daughter. I would go back but I hope they fix the rooms soon
The food wasn't the best, very simple and basic, but the location and the surrounds made up for it. An excellent place for families and couples, great place to relax and do nothing if you want to. Can't wait to go back again. The staff were all fantastic and very friendly and helpful
Good little island, close to Nadi, 20-30 minutes boat ride. The people on the island are very friendly, food is a bit overpriced, but it's expected when you are away from the mainland. Beautiful scenery, fun water sports, good snorkeling trip at the near by island. The food wasn't too great, been served with rotten fruits a couple of times. Overall it's a beautiful family friendly island, it's recommended for people who want a quiet and peaceful holiday.
the food was OK but not over the top. the rooms need some work (better shelves, hooks for clothing and suitcases, etc)
We loved treasure island, great for a family vacation or a romantic get away.. Friendly staff, affordable, brilliant weather, breath taking views. Wonderful food. Great activities to do. We defiently will be going back and bringing Our families along for the experience. Two thumbs up for Treasure Island :-)
Really enjoyed my stay, the Island was great and the staff couldnt have been friendlier. The pool is nice although fairly small, enjoyed the mini golf and baby turtles, plus the snorkelling trip was amazing. Room was ok, a bit dated but did the job. Food was a little hit and miss - BBQ buffet was amazing, Lunch was pretty average.
Very friendly staff and the best night time entertainment in Fiji. The kids love the turtle enclosure.
