A gorgeous tropical island, perfect for families and snorkeling lovers. Suitable for singles and couples too, as long as they are happy with lots of kids around. 100% locally owned and they provide a great insight into the Fijian Culture, which I loved. Like all other island resorts I have stayed in, the Fijian people, make Fiji, Fiji. Friendly welcoming and just pure at heart.
We had such a relaxing time at Treasure Island and it is great for families! The beaches are gorgeous & snorkelling is fabulous. If it's windy one side, it's probably not on the other side which is awesome. Mums and Dads who need a bit of R&R will love the kids club (inclusive) and baby sitting service (which is a reasonably priced extra) & the staff are so lovely with the kids. All the staff are so warm and welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable.
The room we had was in a good location. Size wise was a bit small for our family of 4, comfortable beds at least and the room was made up everyday. The portacot is rock hard so I ended up putting a few towels down for some comfort. Mini bar items are very highly priced. I think they'd sell more making it more affordable.
We had the breakfast buffet included - eggs, bacon, sausages, tomato, mushrooms, French toast, hash browns - the lovely chef cooks up beautiful omelettes. Pastries, toast, cereal, fruit and juice are also on offer.
The restaurant food is okay - nothing flash and we found it very over priced for what it was. Personally I think Treasure need to review their pricing of meals and add some more freshness to their menu. Definitely keep a tally of items you've added to your room charge as there were a few added to our room that weren't ours - but it was easily sorted out with the lovely staff at the front desk.
Thank you for having us!
The cost of tours from the dive shop I think was excessive for day trips and the small shop was way overpriced for bottles of soft drink and soon. Apart from this the Island was good value
