Royal Caribbean cruise liner Serenade of the Seas is set to arrive in Sydney for the first time in October 2020, with the 2400-passenger ship boasting Hollywood star Whoopi Goldberg as godmother. The younger sister ship to Radiance of the Seas, Serenade will sail from Sydney’s Overseas Passenger Terminal through to April 2021 and although she is much smaller than other Royal ships such as Ovation and Voyager of the Seas she offers an array of onboard activities and culinary options not found on ships in Australia in the past including the Safari Club, Congo Bar and Zanzibar Lounge. Other features include a rock-climbing wall, nine-hole minigolf course, three pools, a cinema and sports court as well as 18 dining venues, bars and lounges ensuring Royal Caribbean's promise to bring Australians their world-class style of cruise holidays right to our doorstep.
