Hotel Nikko was a little off the beaten track, but not too far away from everything to be inconvenient. It was very tidy, and the staff were exceptional, but the room itself was mostly tired. The mattress was quite hard, but the pillows were a good size, and nice and fluffy. The onsite restaurants were decent (the Japanese restaurant was fantastic), and the bar by the pool had a generous 4 hour 'happy hour' each afternoon. The spa was the loveliest feature, and the services there were also very good, but pricier than some off site spas. We did pay extra for an ocean view, and while it was possible to see the ocean from our room, we were facing the garden, which was disappointing. For the price of the package it was very good value, but should we return to Bali we would be interested in staying elsewhere.
