Cu Chi By River Morning Tour

Depart at around 7am from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and travel to Ho Chi Minh City pier where you will experience a speedboat trip along the Saigon River, enjoying local architecture and culture en-route to the Cu Chi Tunnels.

The Cu Chi Tunnels, which formed an underground city for Viet Cong soldiers during the Vietnam War. The tunnels stretched more than 250km from Saigon to the Cambodian border and were in some places three stories deep. Today they still contain the remains of an American tank and some craters made by American B52 bombers - glimpses into a bloody war that killed an estimated 58,000 Americans and 3 million Vietnamese.

The next part of your day will include a scenic drive to visit a cricket farm. Crickets are thought of a delicacy in Vietnam. Your trip home will include a stop for a traditional Vietnamese lunch (no crickets included!).
