Picking you up from your hotel, this guided Round Island Safari tour takes you around the island of Efate accompanied by a friendly guide who can tell you all about the lifestyle and history of Vanuatu.
Following the coastline, the tour takes you past traditional Melanesian villages and on to the pristine beaches where you can enjoy a swim in the refreshing crystal waters.
The highlight of the tour (weather permitting) is witnessing the ancient tradition of fire-walking. The men undertake special preparation before performing the ritual and all is explained by your guide.
Continuing on through more villages you'll gain an insight into local life before arriving at the restaurant for a buffet lunch. After lunch the tour will take you to the remains of the American forces Vanuatu involvement during WWII before stopping for a swim and afternoon refreshments.
From here you'll head back to Port Vila passing Klems Hill Lookout with its spectacular views of Mele Bay and Hideaway Island.
