The most underrated resort I have ever stayed at.
Service was impeccable.
The food was amazing.
Barely left the resort because it was just so relaxing.

Wonderful staff, location and package.

Staying at the Havannah was a break away that provided for  a just to relax and breakaway from the business of life. The location provided peace away from noice, the staff were always helpful, friendly and accomodating and provided a welcoming environment. Staying at The Havannah will certainly be a place you can unwind and enjoy a romantic get away, and time for couples. 

All that was expected and more

We stayed January 2023 to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary at The Havannah Vanuatu, we were thrilled with our choice of Resort, recommended by our Travel Agent, Travel Online. The villas are appointed beautifully and privately facing directly to the sea and out to the magnificent evening sunsets. Our package included all meals and the menu was varied daily and absolute 5 star standard! Compliments to the Chef and his team for truly amazing cuisine. There are a vast range of tours available, so either relax or explore! We were privileged to witness an incredible fire show one evening on the Havannah Resort private beach - just fantastic! A highlight was a sunset cruise operated by the Resort where we were followed by a pod of dolphins, beautiful moment. Private dinners on the jetty or on the beach are arranged at your request, nothing is too much trouble and the opportunity to personalize your experience is met without issue by the extremely friendly and polite staff and management at the Resort. Only a few hours from Brisbane for us this was a holiday of celebration that we will never forget. Thank you Team Havannah for the wonderful service provided in a place only to be described as PARADISE!

The Havannah is gorgeous . The location is breathtaking. The beach is lovely . The villas are Magnificent. The Havannah has an intimate feel to it as there are only 20 villas. The restaurant is beautiful and dining was excellent. The staff are all wonderful and really do everything to make your stay enjoyable. We had an unforgettable , wonderful time and we very much intend to return .It's a great place to relax and rejuvenate.

Spent a week with my Mum here for a relaxing and desperately needed holiday - stayed in a Waterfront villa.
ROOM: gorgeous! Beds very comfy, lovely finishes in room. Fridge/tea/coffee in room. Daily clean and turn down felt very decadent, we loved it! Plunge pool was delightful to cool off in every so often whilst reading outside on the day bed overlooking the pristine blue ocean. Being able to walk down the front steps and snorkel right in front of the villa was also a treat.
FOOD: never wanted for food - there was always so much to eat! Very tasty meals every day, and plenty of choice. Nice cocktail selection too.
STAFF: always friendly - could have banter and make a joke. They were also very attentive and observational - for example when my mum started coughing, 20seconds later a glass of water was brought to her without asking. Everyone was warm and welcoming, we felt very at ease/relaxed.
LOCATION: beautiful area, only 30min drive from Port Villa airport. The whole place was so clean; saw 3 bits of rubbish in an entire week! They were also happy to kindly take us via the markets on our trip back to the airport, and waited for us whilst we shopped.
ACTIVITIES: admittedly I was studying and thus we didn’t do all that much - certainly plenty more to do, but we mostly sat reading on our villas day bed with the beautiful view of the ocean, intermittently swimming/snorkelling. We did go to the turtle sanctuary (do this!!) and also had a picnic on Moso island, just the two of us. That was lovely and they packed us a picnic lunch to take across! Cultural night was a lot of fun; managers drinks was also nice to mingle with other guests and see the water show. We ate dinner on the jetty on the Saturday night and were entertained by the musician, James, who plays on a Saturday.

Overall, fantastic stay. Could not fault it. Would recommend to all, and love to stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 nights in an oceanfront villa with plunge pool. The accommodation, staff, service and management team were wonderful. The resort is immaculately maintained and the food is amazing. We will be back!

Thank you so much for an amazing stay! The deluxe waterfront villa was so good - our own pool and private chef was the cherry on top of the cake. Highly recommend for honeymooners and a romantic getaway!

The Havannah is perched on Havannah Bay which is simply beautiful. Well protected by the outlying islands of Lelepa and Moso. The snorkelling was amazing and just feet from your door. We stayed in a Waterfront Villa with its own private plunge pool which was fantastic. The staff here were all very friendly and go out of their way to remember your name. The service can be a bit ‘Island time’ with things taking a bit longer and orders being mixed up, but you’re in paradise so take it easy and go with the flow. The quiet peaceful seclusion of the property is perfect for couples wanting to get away. Havannah we had an amazing time, thank you.

Amazing resort. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food is fresh, plentiful and delicious and is reasonably priced. We had a lagoon pool villa which was just amazing. Perfect views of the sunset. It was very peaceful and intimate. I would go back in a second.

Set in the beautiful Port Havannah this place is amazing for those couples who want to spend a special couple of days away in paradise. Girt by the beautiful blue waters you can enjoy a lovely sunset cruise, snorkelling, sailing, paddle boarding or just a relaxing swim. The staff were amazing and ensured they personalised your stay by getting to know you personally. Definitely worth checking out!!

The most beautiful and relaxing way to celebrate my 70'th birthday I could ever envisage.

The only downsides of our stay was the cost ($50au) of a taxi from town,the sunset cruise boat was not operational and of all things a reaction to a vegetarian meal we both had the night before we left!!!!

Our first trip to Vanuatu and we could not have picked a better place to have stayed. The staff are great, nothing too much trouble, very friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic I would really recommend anyone to stay there it's a beautiful place in the world.

The Havannah was so much more than we imagined - The advertisements were true - but in reality - the property is far more than any photo or review can suggest. The property is SO PEACEFUL - incredibly private - it can be fully booked (only 16 rooms) and you can feel completely alone - if you choose too. The poolside Villa's are gorgeous - a large pool five steps from your room shared only by 4 other couples - we had the pool to ourselves almost all day and night as others were off doing things.

However the Waterfront Villa's will take your breath away - we were beyond thrilled to spend two nights there - utterly luxurious - private beyond imagining with views of the beach to die for from your private plunge pool and swinging day bed. The food was spectacular - the breakfast - truly wonderful - with nothing too much to ask for and every dish cooked to order - no horrid prepared food at all! The dinners were amazing - we had a table set on the beach for ourselves one night - not another should in sight ... dinner under the stars - and then a massive bonfire light just for us. Another night we had a private dinner on the jetty over a glass floor - words can't describe.

The staff are second to none - friendly and remember your name immediately - but discrete. No request needs to be repeated and always met with a smile. The managers Frederick and Victoria are wonderful hosts who are available to every guest - friendly and you get the sense they genuinely care about every persons experience.

Great holiday venue for couples.

The Havannah is a must to book for a stay on Efate, especially for couples, honeymooners. Just a 25 minute drive from the airport and relatively quick trip via taxi into town, The Havannah is in a perfect spot on the coast along Samoa Point. The design of the resort has every last detail covered - food is amazing, outlook and views spectacular, access to watersports and swimming easy, housekeeping... Well they are your housekeeping angels. We never saw the housekeeping staff but our Pool Villa was always immaculately clean with everything we could need - plenty of towels, bottles water, umbrellas, beach bags. They have thought of everything! The staff are extremely friendly and if you stay a few days you will get to know them all and they will know you, what you like and how you have your coffee or cocktails! Only downside is that it can get pricey is you plan on eating & drinking at The Point restaurant for every meal, suggest a quick 20 minute walk down the road the the Havannah Shopping Centre to stock up supplies for the day and the indulge at night. Must dos while there - Lelepa Island tour, snorkelling, paddle boarding, private picnic, trip to town, a dinner at Francesca's down the road and a massage at the resorts day spa. Thanks to Frederick, Victoria, Jonathan, Madeline, Cathy and all the staff. Our honeymoon was perfect! We will come back one day.

Overall happy with Havannah - good management and service. However, the fishing trip was not organised well.

My husband and I went to Vanuatu for your honeymoon. We couldn't have found a better place than the Havannah. The service was beyond and above. And food from the restaurant was equivalent to 5 star restaurant's in Sydney.. could be only better even! Vanuatu has so much to offer from its great nature to its beautiful people. Snorkelling there was probably one of the most amazing things we've done too.. absolutely mind-blowing!! The Havannah is a paradise for couples who want to have intimate alone times without any distractions from kids and big group of people. We are definitely going back there. Can't wait!!

The whole experience was suberb. We could fault nothing for the whole trip. The Havannah is a little slice of heaven. All the staff were brilliant and so friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a romantic, relaxing holiday.

Excellent service, amazing food, and the location was perfect for us to enjoy our honeymoon in peace and quiet, surrounded by crystal clear water.
