The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the room clean and spacious!
We loved the big pools and lounge chairs plus the beach at our doorstep.
There was lots of resturants and money exchange stalls around as well as 7/11 across the road.
The breakfast buffet was ample and well set out. We had 1 free dinner included in which we used on seafood night. It was delicious and lots of variety!
We also utilised the use of the gym and free yoga session.
We absolutely loved our stay here!!
Our family stayed here for 9 days, we thoroughly enjoyed it, wonderful resort, staff were friendly and helpful...breakfast was great...away from the hustle but only a 30 minute drive into Patong Beach....would definitely stay again.

We loved everything about this resort! Out of the hustle and bustle of Patong, right on the beach with beautiful restaurants at your door step. Staff were all friendly and welcoming, buffet breakfast had a great selection and everything was fresh and delicious. Rooms were very clean and a lovely fruit plater was in our room on arrival. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.
A great place to relax. A little far from the action of Patong and shopping but peaceful and relaxing.
We loved the Best Western Premier Bang Tao. The Family Villa was perfect for our family as it had a separate room with two single beds for our two boys. You can't beat the location as you are directly on the beach with no road to cross plus there are two big pools and a separate kiddy pool to choose from. There are plenty of restaurants within two minutes of the hotel and they all have Thai and European options. We even rented the jetskis out the front of the hotel and went whizzing around bang Tao beach. So much fun and relaxing at the same time, we'll be going back again
The property was fantastic with the choice of 2 pools. The staff and service was great. The location was spot on, a few shops and a 7 11 across the road. The only thing that we would complain about is the bed. It was like a slab. It has a bed base with a 75mm. topper on it. We did complain about it and they put another topper on it which made it a bit better. The chairs on the balcony would of been better if they had cushions on them instead of sitting on timber. Other than that we had a great time there. We will return with friends next year.
We loved the included breakfast, plenty of options. The location was perfect with beachside restaurants nearby and shopping just outside the hotel.The rooms were a good size and very clean. The only minus for us was the old hard mattress, they could do with replacing them all as other guests made the same comment.

The service was great all staff were friendly and the amenities were good. I would like to suggest that the pool bar could stay open longer as it closes 90 minutes before the pool does.

This place was awesome. It has two massive pools plus a baby pool. One of the pools has a swim up bar where you can get food and drinks. It has two restaurants that are the same price basically as on the street and every meal we had was great. The location is central to the airport plus Patong beach and all the tours. Has plenty of shops including convenient stores, pharmacies, taxi stand, tuk tuks, restaurants, souvenir shops, clothes shops, massage and nail shops. The staff are 100% lovely and willing to do anything to help. They also have tour guides available to take you on adventures for reasonable prices. The only negative we had was the beds and pillows are hard but they have a little shack on site that offers massages for only $20 Australian to fix that. The beach is on site however the sand is only available on low tide otherwise it is a rock front still accessible though. Plenty of deck chairs around the place and pool tables, table tennis, and a massage/spa parlor. The buffet breakfast was the best we’ve ever had with plenty of options and fresh we made foods. Eggs made to order by a chef just the way you like it. All I know this is pretty much the perfect place to stay !!!
The Resort was very well maintained and run. Staff always friendly and busy with maintaining the property. Only downside is out from the Resort there are few shopping shops and only a handful of good eateries. The Restaurant adjacent to the Resort on the waterfront had quality food. The Resort Restaurants also served quality food and at reasonable prices.
We really enjoy staying there, will be back next year.

We had a great time, loved the Best Western and especially the two enormous swimming pools. Gym was well equipped, food was excellent as was the friendly can't do enough for you service.

We stayed at Bang Tao in 2016 and really liked the beach so when we decided to go back, we thought we would try a different hotel. We had a deal which included a room upgrade so we ended up in a ground floor room overlooking the "family pool" which was excellent for Miss 6 and us being able to sit and watch her from the porch or go and get stuff from the room etc!
The rooms are good sized and have everything you need - fridge, safe, desk and a small table and chairs - there is heaps of room for cases etc. The bathroom is small but functional - the glass shower screen was a bit wobbly so not sure it would stand up to someone falling into it and there were slight toilet smells at times but nothing terrible. The only problem was our air conditioning was freezing - we turned it off quite regularly because it just seemed to keep getting colder rather than cutting in/out to keep the room at a certain temperature.
We ate at the Seaside Restaurant a couple of times and it was tasty and not too expensive compared to outside eating places. Breakfast was fine - usual egg station, toast/rolls/pastries (donuts!), salads/cold meat/cheese and fruit bar, cooked Asian/Western dishes - with some variation each day.
The pools were clean and not too crowded and there were enough sun beds, umbrellas etc plus there were lots of beds overlooking the beach but in the shade which was good.
There are a few places to eat nearby (on street or on beach) which were all reasonable in terms of food and price.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

We had a wonderful time. Room was great. Travelling with a 3 yr old and 5 yr old they thankfully made sure our room was ready before check in so we could go straight there. They also offered us a free late check out.
We had breakfast included each morning, both myself and my children have intolerances and they clearly had signs markings on all food options in the beachside restaurant.
Location was great, we had enough other food options around unlike a lot of other resorts in the area. Drink prices at the lobby/pool bar were were not too bad considering it was a resort/hotel! We had one dinner at the buffet and one “take away” lunch - again prices not too bad considering it was inside the hotel. Yes it would have been cheaper to eat at the restaurants opposite but sometimes you want the easier option with young kids.

Went again for our second stay at Best Western Bang Tao,we obviously love the hotel, location ,service etc as we booked 18 nights. But I do have one gripe with the hotel, at breakfast there is a bread and cake section, and even though there are some tongs provided, as many as maybe 50% would use their hands to pick up and put back the food.I mentioned to staff and the desk about this ,suggesting some signs to help remind guests to not use their hands. After a lot of discussing this pretty disgusting habit they decided to not bother. Which to me was very disappointing as I would expect the health of the guests would be their priority.
Overall our stay was generally fine but don't think we would go this time of year again, as even though the weather was fine, being the low season the choice of surrounding restaurants was limited .
Only minor gripes and they didn't affect our holiday at all. Room was rather dark and the air conditioner thermostat was completely wrong. Said 25, more likely 15, and had to have air conditioner on otherwise condensation everywhere. On call Doctor would have been handy for me as I ended up in hospital.
We recently enjoyed 6 nights at the Best Western Premier hotel in Bangtao Bay, Phuket. The property is situated right on the beach which is lovely. A little dated, but very well maintained, the staff are very diligent keeping the grounds and facilities spic and span. The room itself was spotless and very comfortable - the air conditioning excellent! Before you check in we advise to request a 'soft bed' be set up in your room; the mattress is very hard otherwise.The property offers two large pools, 2 restaurants (both offered lovely food and breakfast was nice), pool bar and wonderful proximity right on the beach front. Bangtao Bay itself is a quieter option than the hustle and bustle found in Patong. We liked the laid back atmosphere. Local shops are right on your doorstep with 711, pharmacy, massage centres and trinket/clothes shops. There are also a number of great restaurants too, our favourite was The Beach Cuisine restaurant, situated right on the beach - the food so fantastic, we visited twice during our stay. The resort has a day spa; my daughters and I purchased a 5 treatment package and we enjoyed the experience. There is also an outdoor massage bungalow where the treatments are much more affordable than in the day spa. There are also several massage places just outside the resort which were great too. The staff at the resort were all very friendly and most accommodating - we couldn't fault their level of service. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday! We would love to return some day!
Second time staying here & we all LOVE it ( family of four ). Service wonderful, food outstanding, 2 pools to choose from with ample room & sunbeds as well as umbrellas. Beach is simply gorgeous. Across the rd 7-11, massages, laundry, restaurants, chemist. Handful of clothing shops. Staff amazing, check in easy, room spacious ( family room ) check out a breeze. Breakfast abundance of choices. Happy hour brilliant. Cannot speak any more highly of Best Western Premier. A peaceful break from Patong when heading home.
The staff are very helpful and the facilities are excellent. With direct access to the beach this resort is a hidden jewel. Rooms are a good size and clean. If you are looking for the chaos of Patong do not stay here.
Nice stay - very quiet in the area during September- also very wet and humid.
8 years ago this place was brilliant. It is now much bigger and the property needs some uplift, rooms need bit of refurb, air conditioning really needs refit as it doesn't cope through night. Wifi is ridiculous forva place like this.
Cannot speak highly enough of Best Western Premier Bangtao Beach and without doubt, will stay there again in the future. The staff there were fabulous - all so happy, friendly and efficient. Our Family Villa was perfect for us (2 Adults, 2 Kids) in a great location set back slightly from the beach. Bangtao Beach is a great location for families with plenty of local shopping and great restaurants away from the hustle and bustle of Patong, yet still only a short drive when you want to shop there. We loved it!!
Top service, top staff, dining to die for. All attention to detail :)
My family just had a fabulous holiday at Bangtao. Food was excellent and not forgetting the customer service. We will definitely return here.
