Staying in luxury tented accommodation in Khao Sak National Park, this 3 Day Elephant Hills Beach and Rainforest Nature Safari are designed to provide you with a truly unique experience. Combining interactions with Asia's endangered elephant and the untouched beauty of southern Thailand's diverse rainforest, you will depart from these Elephant Hills Beach and Rainforest Nature Safari tours feeling fulfilled and enlightened by the delights of mother nature.


Elephant Hills Camp is located close to the jungle of Khao Sok National Park and provides 30 luxurious tents. These tents have been tailor made and feature comfortable solid beds, fan, tea & coffee making facilities and a private bathroom. Tents are spacious and are well protected against the natural elements with the interiors being furnished with hand crafted furniture. Prices are based on 2 people sharing a tent, however single supplements are available on request. For a third person sharing a tent, portable beds will be used.


3 Days & 2 Nights Elephant Hills Beach and Rainforest Nature Safari

Day 1 Overnight - Elephant Hills camp: Includes Lunch & Dinner
After being picked up from your departure location, the tour travels through oil and rubber plantations and small rural villages to the Phang Nga province. From here we disembark on a speedboat to discover the some of the meandering channels in the mangrove forest before boarding a Burmese Junk to cruise to deserted beach for the opportunity to relax, swim or paddle a canoe. Enroute to Elephant Hills camp the tour stops at a local market.

Check into your luxury Elephant Hills accommodation and refresh before enjoying the evening activities. The Jungle Explorers Club Bar serves a selection of wines, cocktails and beers (at own expense) or other optional activities include a traditional Thai dance performance by local school children, a movie presentation or a cooking demonstration. Dinner is served around 8pm. As you dine in this unique location enjoy the sounds and atmosphere of the rainforest.

Day 2 Overnight - Elephant Hills camp: Includes Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
This morning visit the Elephant Sanctuary. This truly amazing experience provides you with the opportunity to see, touch, prepare a daily meal and feed the elephants. As Asia’s largest land animal, learn and interact with their mahouts (elephant caretakers) all whilst gaining an insight into the conservation project. The visit ends as you watch the elephants bathe before you get up really close and personal and scrub and wash them clean.

At midday a buffet lunch is served providing a sumptuous variety of delectable Thai dishes. As lunch settles relax on the Sok River aboard a jungle river canoe trip. See the impressive Limestone Mountains and cliffs draped in tropical foliage, whilst catching glimpses and basking reptiles on the river banks and of hornbill birds swooning above. As you drift downstream you enter some of the last remaining areas of the primary rainforest, to wonder at a world where little has changed over time.

Return to your tent before dining out at another amazing night, sharing stories at Elephant Hills camp.

Day 3: Includes Breakfast & Lunch
After a relaxing night rest, awake to the sounds of the rainforest and take time out to watch the sun rising as the mist clears over the mountain. Breakfast is available at your leisure.

The tour then makes its way into the rainforest to explore on of the world’s oldest habitats. There is an amazing variety of flora and fauna on display. Be quite, go slow, look and listen as the rainforest comes alive around you. Hornbills, gibbons, macaque can be seen as you trek through and discover the magic of the rainforest. Weather permitting your bamboo cooked lunch is served in the rainforest.

Returning to Elephant Hills camp, you will have time to refresh before departing to your next location (hotel or airport).

Pick up and onward transfers are available from: Phuket, Khao Lak,Krabi, Surat Thani, Khanom and Koh Samui. Transfers are include in the tour price. The closest and exact location of pick up and drop off will be advised on confirmation. Note: flight delays many result in private transfers being arranged which will incur surcharges.

What to Bring: Towel, water bottle, torch, small pillow, toiletries, personal medication, mosquito repellant, hat, sturdy walking shoes, swimmers, sun screen, binoculars, camera, warm clothing in cooler months, wet weather gear.
