Spend 3 days travelling through part of the Top End in an air conditioned luxury coach on this Kakadu & Twin Falls Adventure Tour from AAT Kings. Your days will be jam packed with guided walks to Nourlangie ancient Aborigianl rock art, a Yellow Water Billabong Cruise in search of the saltwater crocodiles and a visit to Jim Jim Falls, where you can take a 900 metre bushwalk to the beautiful rock pool. Your 3 day adventure also takes you to Twin Falls, East Alligator River, Arnhem Land and the Bowali Visitor Centre for a fascinating insight into the unique flora and fauna and ancient Aboriginal culture.

Day 1 Darwin - Kakadu: Travel on the Arnhem Highway and stop at Nourlangie, where the guide will lead a walk to view ancient Aboriginal rock art. After lunch, join the local guide for a cruise on the famous Yellow Water Billabong. Search for saltwater crocodiles and the colourful range of birdlife for which this region is renowned. Visit the Warradjan Cultural Centre and view the informative displays depicting the traditions of the Aboriginal people in Kakadu.
Day 2 Jim Jim and Twin Falls: Travel by 4WD to Jim Jim Falls. Take a 900 metre bushwalk to the Jim Jim Falls plunge pool, where there is time for swimming, relaxing and enjoying the spectacular scenery. Afterwards, travel to a scenic rest area for a picnic lunch. Then board boats to cruise up the first part of the gorge to Twin Falls. There is a 45 minute walk over slippery rocks with sand and rock ledges. Relax and enjoy spectacular scenery at the base of the falls. (Today's touring is only suitable for people with a good level of fitness.)
Day 3 Kakadu - Darwin: A morning stop at Ubirr to view Aboriginal rock art. Later, join the Guluyambi Cultural Cruise along the East Alligator River. An Aboriginal Guide will provide an insight into their culture, including local mythology, the river's abundant food chain, as well as bush survival skills. Disembark on the Arnhem Land side of the river to see a display of traditional hunting and gathering implements before heading back downstream. Visit the Bowali Visitor Centre before returning to Darwin.

Children: 15 years and under are charged at the child rate. Minimum child age for this tour is 8 years.
What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, water bottle, camera and a jacket in cooler months
Luggage Allowance: One medium size suitcase per person plus an overnight bag
Fitness requirement: Moderate level of fitness required. Small amount of walking including a 10-15 minute walk on uneven ground with a gradual climb to the viewing point. There is wheelchair access, however, this is on uneven ground and is accessible for only a small part of the walk and must have a carer to assist.
Note: Day 2 touring is by small 4WD vehicle. There is no swimming allowed at Twin Falls. Due to seasonal conditions, this itinerary may change without notice.
