Getting To Nelson Bay

Located just two and a half hours north of Sydney, getting to Nelson Bay by car is easy thanks to the excellent motorway network. Following the M1 Motorway merge onto the New England Highway then veer left onto the Pacific Highway, heading towards Taree. Turning right onto Tomago Road, follow the road all the way to Nelson Bay. Just half an hour from Nelson Bay, the Newcastle Airport is serviced by regular flights and is a short car, shuttle or taxi ride into town. Coach services run daily from Sydney to nearby Port Stephens and the CountryLink rail service also operates from all over New South Wales, connecting to Port Stephens.
