Landmarks

Point Danger Lookout: One of the most popular attractions in the Kingscliff/Tweed Heads region, the Point Danger Lookout enjoys beautiful views of the Duranbah surf beach. An historic lookout, it also offers some excellent dolphin spotting opportunities in the water off the coast of Kingscliff and Tweed Heads.

Fingal Head Lighthouse: An iconic part of the coastal landscape in Kingscliff and Tweed Heads, the Fingal Head Lighthouse is an historic local attraction. An impressive sight, especially when lit at night, the lighthouse no longer open for viewing on the inside but is still well worth a visit.

History/Culture

Minjungbal Aboriginal Cultural Centre: Simultaneously preserving and highlighting the Aboriginal cultural heritage of Kingscliff and the Tweed region, the Minjungbal Aboriginal Cultural Centre is a fascinating attraction home to a video museum and detailed exhibits that feature a range of indigenous artefacts including didgeridoos, boomerangs, bark paintings and even a traditional ceremonial site known as the sacred bora ring.

South Tweed Sports Club: Located on the Tweed River's Eukerabagh Passage, the South Tweed Sports Club is home to 3 championship outdoor bowling greens, large kids club, remedial therapists, Keno and TAB facilities, auditorium, 5 beverage outlets, themed coffee shop, rainforest bistro, a la carte restaurant and function area and a large multipurpose function space.

Club Banora: Just minutes from its sister club Twin Towns in Tweed Heads, Club Banora offers a range of sporting and recreational facilities including an 18-hole championship golf course, an Olympic size swimming pool, a children's leisure pool, all-weather tennis courts and a number of lawn bowls greens.
