Hamilton Island Marina

Hamilton Island Marina is the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef, with a number of ferry passenger services, transfers and tours based at the marina. Located just a short stroll from the Hamilton Island airport, the marina is home to a number of boutique stores, art galleries, convenience stores, cafes, bars and restaurants as well as bakeries and fish and chip shops. If you're lucky enough to be sailing your own yacht into Hamilton Island, the marina has a convenient range of berths located next to the Hamilton Island Yacht Club. If you're wishing to base yourself in the Whitsundays for a boating holiday, the Hamilton Island Marina has a full range of services and facilities. The marina features 245 wet berths and allows boats up to 60m to berth, however, speed limits are strictly enforced and are limited to 4 knots with the marina a designated 'no wash' zone.

With a reputation as a 'super port', the Hamilton Island Marina features a chandlery, boat yard, fuel wharf with both diesel and unleaded, a concierge service, marina attendants, wireless internet access, 15, 32, 63 and 125 amp shore power, self-operated laundry, trailer boat and jet ski storage, chase boat services, garbage disposal, gas refills and boat brokerage. The marina's boat yard is well-equipped and fully operational with a travel lift that can lift and rack vessels of up to 60 tonne.

Operators at the marina can also provide antifouling, mechanical, shipwright, hull and running gear repair, refrigeration, maintenance and electrical services. Berths must be booked and paid for in advance with casual berthing fees collected on the dock by the marina concierge.
