Departing from your hotel in the morning, travel on a fast ferry to your destination on the southern coast. Enjoy the sites as you cruise through the busy harbour to the beautiful Cheung Sha Wan Beach on Lantau Island. On arrival enjoy a short stroll along the shoreline of one of Hong Kong's longest beaches.
Travel onto the picturesque fishing village of Tai O which is home to a community of fisher folk who have built their homes on stilts above the tidal flats of Lantau Island.
Embracing the spiritual significance of the region, visit the Po Lin Monastery to admire the Tian Tan Buddha statue. This majestic statue attracts worshipers from all over Asia. Informally known as Big Buddha, this statue faces north and sits 34 metres high to overlook the Chinese people. A vegetarian lunch will be serving at the Po Lin Monastery.
After enjoying your solitude in such a peaceful and tranquil setting, we head to Ngong Ping Village which boasts several major tourist attractions as well as a plethora of retail and entertainment experiences. Before you return to your hotel, head skyward bound on a 5.7km Ngong Ping Cable Car ride for a bird's eye view over rugged mountainous scenery.
