Offering a unique insight into the history of Honolulu, Aloha VIP Tours the region's major monuments and city sights in air conditioned comfort. Visiting Pearl Harbour, a documentary recounts the 1941 surprise bomb attack that launched the US into WWII. From there you'll continue on to the Arizona Memorial and board the sunken battleship, observing the significance of its final resting place for more than 1,100 Navy personnel and Marines who lost their lives defending their country.
From there it's onto downtown Honolulu where you'll explore the main financial and business district, the State Government seat, Iolani Palace, State Capitol, residency of the Hawaiian Governor and Washington Place. You'll also visit Kawaiahao Church, a massive project built by Hawaiian missionaries over 5 years.
The tour wraps up with a visit to Punchbowl Cemetery where the bodies of nearly 25,000 people who died fighting for their country rest in the crater of an extinct volcano. There is also a monument for more than 20,000 MIA personnel whose bodies were never recovered.
