Paradise Country is a fantastic Gold Coast theme park for families wishing to experience the Australian farm and outback way of life, all just 30 minutes from the Gold Coast. Located right behind the Wet'n'Wild Water World and Warner Bros. Movie World theme parks, Paradise Country is a world away from the city and beaches allowing visitors to encounter a working farm with its animals and wildlife.
Open daily Paradise Country features an array of shows and experiences which visitors can choose to journey through at their own pace. Paradise Country can easily be experienced in either a morning, afternoon or full day out.
For the rest of the time the choice of experiences include the Sheep Shearing and Ram Parade, the Stockman Show or the Stockhorse & Billy Tea Show where guests sit around the campfire and enjoy some Australian billy tea and damper. Get up close with the farm animals and wildlife with the Wildlife Walkthrough and Farmyard Nursery.
You can now visit the major theme parks while on the Gold Coast with one of the Gold Coast Theme Park Passes. There are a variety of passes on offer to suit most visitors. Visit Sea World, Wet'n'Wild and Warner Bros. Movie World and Paradise Country for an action packed adventure with the family.
Admission to the following shows and exhibits are included, each operating at different times throughout the day.
Stock Horse Arena & Billy Tea Show: Witness the Australian Stock Horse as the stockmen ride them around the ring and over various obstacles. Enjoy a campfire with Billy Tea and damper.
Stockman Show: Enjoy the show as the stockmen and their dogs round up the sheep. Learn to milk a cow, throw a boomerang and crack a stock whip.
Sheep Shearing and Ram Parade: Visit the shearing shed and watch as the sheep are sheared. Learn about the process of wool production and witness the Ram Parade.
Wildlife Walkabout: Wander around the grounds to spot the local wildlife and take the opportunity to hand feed kangaroos and emus. Listen to an informative wildlife talk hosted by the zookeepers at the Wildlife Photo Centre.
