Dreamworld Gold Coast

One of the most popular attractions on the Gold Coast, Dreamworld offers a fun day out for the whole family. Offering easy access off the main highway, the theme park is spread across 30 hectares and features a wide range of thrill rides, amusement rides, games, arcades, cafes, lolly shops, ice cream parlours, restaurants and gift shops.

Dreamworld is also home to The Big 9 Thrill Rides including the tallest and fastest thrill ride in the world, the Tower of Terror 2, as well as the 38 storey free fall of the Giant Drop and the 9 storey high, 64km per hour, 360 degree spinning of The Claw.

Even the little ones will be taken care of with ABC Kids World, Wiggles World as well as the fascinating yet educational Dreamworld Corroboree. There's also Tiger Island where you can get up close and personal with beautiful rare tigers and watch these magnificent creatures at play with their handlers. There's even a range of seasonal attractions including the immersive experiences such as the Zombie Evilution combat zone and Flow Rider - Australia's first combined surfing, skateboarding and body boarding experience.


Itinerary Options

Whitewater World: Located right next to Dreamworld, Whitewater World is a theme park with some of the most advanced water based rides in the world. There's plenty of family friendly attractions including Wiggle Bay, The Green Room and the Cave of Waves as well as high speed action on the Super Tubes Hydrocoaster, Blue Ringed Octopus, The Rip, The Temple of Huey and the power slide, The Wedgie.

SkyPoint: Is located on top of the iconic Q1 Building. One of the world's tallest residential towers, SkyPoint takes you to the highest point above the Gold Coast and offers spectacular 360 degree views from the surf to the hinterland and beyond. Rising 230 metres into the sky, SkyPoint is located on Level 77 and 78 of the Q1 Building in southern Surfers Paradise.

Getting There

If you are staying on the Gold Coast and don't have access to a car the best way to travel to all of the Gold Coast Theme Parks is with a Freedom Pass.

Opening Hours Dreamworld: 10.00am - 5.00pm daily except Christmas Day (25 December) and Anzac Day (25 April). Hours may be extended during Summer, Autumn, Spring and during school holiday periods.
Opening Hours Whitewater World: 10.00am - 4.00pm daily except Christmas Day (25 December) and Anzac Day (25 April). Hours may be extended during Summer, Autumn, Spring and during school holiday periods.
Opening Hours Skypoint: 7.30am - 9.00pm (Sun-Thu) or 7.30am -7.30pm in low season & 7.30am - until late (Fri-Sat *18+ years only, smart dress code applies) restricted operating hours for Christmas Day, Anzac Day & New Years Day). Various dates may be closed for private functions.
Children: Under 3 years are free of charge, children 3-13 years child rate applies
