Southport Surf Club

Located on MacArthur Parade at Main Beach, Southport Surf Club is situated at the Gold Coast’s northern end and was established in 1924. One of Queensland’s first surf clubs to offer Junior Activities, the club is now proudly home to more than 250 Nippers who train regularly and compete weekly throughout summer. The senior club also features more than 200 patrolling volunteers who proudly hold the record of ‘no lives lost between the flags’.

Southport Surf Club is also home to a Supports Club on Main Beach and offers both members and guests quality service in a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Boasting some of the best views in the Gold Coast, the club features a restaurant overlooking Main Beach with a diverse selection of food and drink including 12 of the best local beers on tap.

The restaurant at Southport Surf Club offers seating for more than 250 people and features a striking and expansive outdoor balcony offering open air al fresco dining with beautiful views over the patrolled portions of Main Beach. The extensive dining menu has been masterfully created by the head chef to cater to vegetarians, gluten intolerances, children and everyone in between.

The Southport Surf Club also features a number of gaming options in a recently renovated gaming room complete with 45 state-of-the-art gaming machines, two progressive major jackpot links, a TAB area, Keno and pokie and member promotions. The TAB area features Greyhound, Full Gallop and Harness racing as well as sportsbet facilities and big screen TVs broadcasting all the action live.
