Pool and Location good, room not so good

Great position and pool.
Unit 1 was very well lit up at night with the resort sign and ground lighting placed directly outside the bedroom room window, you could actually read a brochure in the middle of the night in bed without the light on which made it difficult to sleep.
The lounge room carpet was very dirty looking and stained, we found some leftover biscuit crumbs on the carpet, so needs better cleaning.
The pillows and bed was hard, not a pillow top mattress, both of us have sore backs now.
The Manager entered the unit whilst we were out, as we discovered they left the vanity doors in the bathroom open. When we told them someone had been in our room whilst we were out they said it was them to remove a faulty iron.
Ceiling fan in lounge room has only one speed, slow, and bedroom one worked best on medium (too rattly on fast) which was insufficient for Jan/Feb heat and humidity.
Position of room next to ground floor entry doors and lifts etc makes it only suitable for very short stays due to noise and lighting and bedding. We stayed 10 nights.
At present they are still working on the lifts.
