Amazing island getaway

The water around the resort was amazing it is literally crystal clear. The weather felt hotter and less rain then the mainland. The staff where friendly and hardworking. Especially Ameani (the guitar player) sang songs for all the guests and made it a really nice atmosphere to have dinner.
Our accommodation said ocean view but it was behind the beachfront villas so it didn't have much of a view I'd get the beachfront villas next time.
It was expensive for food and drinks but we knew that going over so we bought snacks and bottled water at a shop before we went on the boat to the island.
Overall loved the Sheraton, we would definitely be back.

Idyllic Getaway

Youll feel part of the family at Tokoriki. Welcomed with guitars and singing and a huge group farewell on departure. Turquoise water, snorkelling, standup paddle boards and laid back atmosphere- island time! Recharge your batteries.

Paradise

Cannot fault the staff (always singing, helpful, caring, and so friendly), the location (never tire of the stunning ocean/island views everyday from every room), the family suite was perfect (great layout, big bathroom, big beds for the kids, separate rooms, movie channels, great aircon), the welcome and farewell by staff was very emotional, we felt well looked after the entire stay. The food was more hit than miss, amazing breakfast options. The kids club was suitable for our boys and run by one of the kindest men we have ever met - thank you Bill for looking after our boys so well. The water sports were great - I saw a sea turtle and many, many bright and beautiful fish. The whole experience was wonderful and I wish we were still there.

Fabulous Fiji!!

Our family of four (two children ages 9 & 11) stayed at Tokoriki for 8 wonderful nights in late May to early June. It was our first trip to Fiji and has left us with so many treasured memories that will last a lifetime. The refurbished resort is superb, the staff ever-smiling and always obliging. The food is sumptuous if a little pricey. A trip to the nearby island of Yanuya was a highlight. Many of the staff who work at Tokoriki live on Yanuya and it was wonderful to observe Fijian village life, try some Kava, and experience school-life for the local children; a real joy. We were sad to say good-bye but are sure we'll be back. Vinaka to all!!

Amazing destination - great time

Our 3rd time to Tokoriki, 1st to Sheraton however. Great hotel and good value for money - world class island and reef. Definitely worth the money for the plunge pool rooms as they are in a much more secluded part of the hotel. Hotel is very new, facilities very good, still some operational familiarity issues with staff but nothing that came close to ruining a great week. Thanks!

Loved the location and the staff were amazing would return

Given the newness of the resort there were a few teething problems, but the staff more then made up for it. I would highly recommend a night either side on the mainland especially in the rainy season. We couldn't get to the island when we first arrived as there was bad weather and the flight from sydney was late arriving and it had already started to get dark so we missed the helicopter cut off. We stayed in the family suite with two kids which was a little small, if i went again I would add one of the interconnecting rooms to have the additional space. There is only one restaurant which when you are there over a week can feel a little limited.

A Truly Relaxing Holiday

We booked an Island Breeze Room but were thrilled to be upgraded to an Oceanview Retreat on the adults only side. The room was lovely, as I'm sure they all are and after having a walk around the other side we concluded that it wouldn't really matter which accommodation you were booked into - they all looked nice. As others have mentioned, one of the best assets of this resort are the staff. They are all lovely, friendly people and always seems to be either singing or laughing. The ocean is beautiful and warm with snorkelling close to the beach. We only swam in the pool once but it was also nice and warm once you got in. All the food was lovely and there were four specialty nights, we didn't go to these as we don't eat that much and couldn't justify the cost of $99 each - would have been a waste, though everyone we spoke with who did go said the food was wonderful. The one and only negative about this resort is the lack of shade around the pool area. However, we have been assured this is being addressed soon with umbrellas to be installed. This resort is highly recommended.

Paradise

A new resort so still some teething problems and a bit of construction still going on. The location is amazing, beautiful beach and water, great pool area and the gym and tennis court are great. The spa treatments are ok but need polishing (no refreshments after spa). Food was good but not worth the price tag. Water sports are expensive. The staff are amazing and really made our holiday. Overall a fabulous stay and we would recommend.

Stunning facilities and food

Food was a feature of the stay - outstanding. Superb service. This is a new facility and water-sport activities will evolve over time - what was there was well supported.

Paradise - Almost!

Amazing relaxing 5 nights spent in a beautiful, peaceful environment, surrounded by the warmth and fun of a caring staff. Would highly recommend the resort for couples looking for R &R. The resort is still under construction and our disappointment was not being aware of this until a briefing prior to departing for the island. We were most appreciative of our upgrade from the 2nd night however honest advertising of the resort being in a "soft opening" phase would have allowed for more realistic expectations from all guests. Be aware that dining is very expensive with the menu not changing during our stay and limited options for non-seafood guests! Many of the advertised activities were also not operating & the Spa/Massage room is operating from a Guest room. Regardless of the construction, we loved our time here & it still catered completely for the relaxation we were looking for.
