Singaraja - North of Bali

A full day tour through Bali's north coast region, Singaraja - also stopping in at the popular Lovina Beach. Heading north from Denpasar you'll make your way along the winding mountains to Taman Ayun, Royal Family Temple. This ancient temple features amazing architecture and is dated at 1634 AD according to 'Sad Bhuta Yaksa Dewa' the date stamp carved on the door. Moving on to the local flower and fruit markets of Bedugul village, the tour then visits Ulun Danu Temple and Mount Batukaru, an ancient crater that now holds Lake Beratan.

The native monkeys are an amusing sight as they beg for food through the lush jungle on the way to the cascading Gitgit waterfall. Winding your way back down the mountain to reach Lovina's beach village you'll make a brief stop for lunch for continuing on to the hot springs. The journey back to your hotel is a stunning vision of Bali's rice fields and hill gardens that seem to stretch forever.
