A rare chance to see one of few remaining active volcanoes, the Kintamani Volcano tour is one of Bali's most popular. Opening with traditional Baron and Keris Balinese dances the tour moves through Celuk village where you can see a gold and silver smith at work, then on to Kemenuh village where you can watch a woodcarver at his craft. Continuing on to the mysterious Elephant Caves Temple, you will learn the fascinating history of this sacred meditation site for Buddhist and Hindu monks dating as far back as the 11th century.
Heading on through the Tampak Siring and Seribatu villages you'll enjoy a brief stop for lunch and then it's on to the main attraction, Kintamani. After giving you plenty of time to appreciate this natural spectacle you'll head back along the rice fields to Ubud's Monkey Forest before visiting one of Bali's most renowned art galleries where you will learn the fascinating history behind these works of art.
